Cops may blast boulders in cave temple

IPOH: Police may use dynamite to move the boulders pinning
the body of Perak Cave Temple guard Yip Lum Choon, 55, who
was killed in a rock-fall on Sunday.
Perak police chief DCP Datuk Zulkifli Abdullah told reporters
at the scene yesterday about 40 rescue personnel were trying
to clear the area of boulders and rocks.
Police have identified the area where the body is trapped
and may use dynamite on a “small scale” to blast the boulders
if the rescuers were unsuccessful, he said.
