BLOOMBERG ANALYSIS
This report was prepared using the Bloomberg Terminal through a subscription of services through Bloomberg, L.P. They Terminal reports real-time financial market news, pricing, reports and importantly securities analysis in a secure, proprietary network. Specifically, our subscription to the Bloomberg service entitles TGA Associates research and analysis into the structure and content of all Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) in the market. Bloomberg Terminal access and training helps TGA to uncover the path and location of homeowners mortgage loans that were securitized into MBS, past and present. The search for the subject loan within a specific MBS relies on the Original Loan Note, the Mortgage Servicer statements, and even documents recorded with the subject loans county of residence. Through time, the loan may have been identified with multiple numbers or may even be identified with a previously unidentified loan number. TGA Associates uses extensive Bloomberg Terminal training, an understanding of loan origination, and several sources of additional MBS documentation to provide the client and homeowner with a final affidavit proving the existence of the subject loan within a stated MBS. In many cases, the loans that were placed in these trusts were fractionalized, or broken into multiple parts and combined with other loans into Classes with varying credit risk profiles and maturities. Each of these classes was assigned a separate CUSIP number and sold as an individual security. Some of these securities may have been completely paid off through payments by the borrower, credit default swaps, mortgage insurance or government programs.
