Intuitive Access Rules

axesplus definition of access rules is highly intuitive. In essence, rules describe who (any person or group) can go where (any managed area) and when (any time defined in the schedule) in simple language. For example: R&D Dept. personnel can access Building 2 during Office Hours. axesplus advanced management tools allow the creation of rules based on the physical structures (i.e. doors, zones, buildings, floors, rooms ) or based on organizational structure (i.e. departments or public areas). Each branch can be managed separately or according to the global organizational policy.

axesplus intuitive graphical maps make it easy to monitor and identify security events. Event and alarm notification can be handled either by email or SMS in real time. The system enables crisis level management with support for DEFCON, MI5, JTAC, ISPS and Vigipirate. The crisis level of any site/location/zone/door can be changed instantly and access rights automatically modified accordingly.

Advanced Scheduling
With axesplus you can define recurring schedules (daily, weekly, monthly and yearly) which can include predefined expiration dates so that, for example, students access rights are only valid during the this summer term.

The hardware configuration includes a built in I/O module to control and integrate with external building automation systems. For example it can be used to notify the receptionist if the parking is almost full.
