Week 8: Home Project Essential Questions: How can we compare decimal and fractional values?

How do you know where to place rational and or irrational values on a number line? Task: Using your own examples, show and describe how to find compare different kinds of rational numbers (decimals and fractions). What must you do to compare fractions to fractions? How about decimals to decimals? Also, how are we able to compare decimal values to numbers written as fractions? Remember: this should be presented in such a way that someone who has no idea will be able to understand the mathematics! You may choose to represent this by creating a lesson booklet, a poster, or by creating something digitally (e.g. a PowerPoint slideshow or a video). Be creative! Rubric:
