Hi Alicia, I use a nifty add-on call MeasureIt! that is super helpful to me to determine this type of thing. You can get it for FF and Chrome (just Google MeasureIt to see which one is right for you).: There are other ways to find the width of the elements but this one is a quick method because you click on the icon in your browser bar and your cursor turns into crosshair so that you can click and drag around an element so get the size. Heres what I get for that column:

You can also use another of my favorite extensions the Web Developer Toolbar (chrispederick.com) I use the toolbar icon > Information > Display Element Information > and after I click on the element I want more info on, it shows me this at the bottom. Heres a large screenshot sorry about the size but it illustrates everything I just said

Best, Valentina

This is so helpful. I dont know a pixel from a pixie. How many pixels wide is each of their columns? How can I figure out that kind of thing myself in future when Im trying to replicate a table that I like? *Jeremy* Sorry for any embarrassing us with my dumb questions. Thanks! Alicia

Hi Alicia! We dont have a guide for that one, but its pretty easy: they just created a rich text box, created a table with 2 columns, and each row has icon | text icon | text icon | text and so on. The table has no borders or background. If you want to use cute icons, youll find some really nice ones in iStockphoto.com. Heres a sample result list on the term iconset: http://www.istockphoto.com/search/text/iconset/source/basic#197de680 Hope this helps!

Hey, Valentina and/or Springy Support

Thank you for the link to the subject menu FAQ! We didnt know what to call this to even look for it in the Guide FAQs. Heres another question. I hope I wont embarrass my esteemed colleague, Jeremy, by asking a dumb one. On that Mt. Holyoke page linked below - theres a Contact Us menu on the right-hand side. Ill plagiarize Jeremys earlier questions: is this a known, easily reproducible customization? Or, is it a Campus Guides/Libguides CMS feature?

Thanks!

Alicia

Hello Springshare! We camped out at springycamp last week and noticed something on one of the presenters Libguides that we really liked: Attached is a screenshot of the nice collapsible list on Mt. Holyokes site. Again we think this is pretty slick. Perhaps we need to contact them about it but wed like to duplicate this for our Guides list (and for other uses if possible). is this a known, easily reproducible customization? Or, is it a Campus Guides/Libguides CMS feature? We do know how about how to create expanding text. This is just a little nicer. Thanks for your time!
