Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 My Lord and my God, I admit that I have been wrong in not following You. I turn away from my sin - I repent. Please forgive me. I believe that You paid the penalty for me on the cross and that You rose again from the dead to offer me new life. I commit myself to following You as my Savior and Lord. I want Your gift of life, now and forever. Help me to live for You by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. As best as I know how, I give Jesus Christ leadership of my life. From this time forward, as He gives me strength, I will seek to live for Jesus and follow Him in all areas of my life. Date: Signature: Witness: Email: Phone:

Welcome to Gods family!

What you have just heard is what the Bible has to say about eternal life, both now and forever. As a result of placing your faith in Christ alone for that life, you are now a child of God!

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God...
John 1:12
3

In Luke 15:10 it tells us that when we turn from our sin and to God, the angels in Heaven rejoice. A party erupts every time someone makes the decision to live life Gods intended way.
| A note of caution. Words alone do not bring about eternal life. Only the person who has genuinely repented of their sins and placed all their trust in Jesus sacrificial death on cross will receive the promise of life now and forever.

When a person grasps Jesus love for them and receives Him into their life, there will be a deep sense of appreciation and growing desire to live for Jesus. And God has designed several key ways to nurture this new relationship.

Time to GROW

5 Means of Growth

The Bible: Read one chapter in the Bible each day. Begin with the Gospel of John. (Gospel means good news!)
6

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. 1 Peter 2:2 Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105
The Bible is Gods word, letters to His children, containing promises and truths to live by. As we read His word, we begin to understand what God desires for our lives. Beginning in John, we embark on discovery steps we can take to live our lives to the full. Please feel free to read more if you like! Its helpful to keep a pencil close by to underline any verses that are specifically meaningful to you, or are unclear to you.

Below is a great promise of Jesus for you. Personalize it by inserting your name in the blanks below. For God so loved ________________ that He gave His one and only Son, that (if) ________________ believes in Him, _________________ shall not perish but _______________ shall have eternal life.

John 3:16

Prayer: Prayer is how we talk with God. It is our direct communication with Him. Invest time throughout each day talking with God about anything and everything.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Worship:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Godthis is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1

Worship is all about God. It encompasses everything we do. Whether we are sitting, standing, working or playing, eating or drinking, walking or driving, worship is an outward expression of Gods importance and value in our life. Its the motivation behind how and why we live life. Worship regularly with others in a church that teaches you the Bible. Two foundational means of worship are baptism and the Lords Supper. Baptism is the outward expression of your inward decision to make Jesus Lord of your life. Its going public for the world to see that your life now, and forevermore, is under His leadership and care. Your local church can add clarity and lead you in obedience in this act of worship.

10

The Lords Supper is a declaration of Jesus death and resurrection. A time to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made in order that we could experience eternal life now and forevermore. The bread, his nail scarred body; the cup, his shed blood; both in remembrance of His sacrificial death and resurrection. For a more detailed explanation, check with your local church. Fellowship: Being involved with other Christians will help you grow in your faith. Fellowship is a time where Christ followers come together to learn from Gods word and for mutual encouragement: sharing in each others pain and suffering as well as each others joy and

victory. This lends itself to growth in our faith in God as we see how He works all this for our good. A great place for this to happen is at a local church that teaches you the Bible. This is one of Gods intended purposes in the local church.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24,25
12

Witness: Witnessing is expressing to others the joy of what God has done in your life. How is life now different since He gave you life to the full? Share that! God has freely given us the gift of eternal life and its to our benefit to share that with our friends and family. One of the first Christ followers, Andrew, after first meeting Jesus immediately went to get his brother to introduce him to Jesus. We should follow in his example as we want to share with others what life to the full now, and forever, means to us. And as you do this, it will help you grow spiritually too.

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so

that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 1:6
