Picture this. Its a beautiful Sunday morning. you are walking in the garden the
scent of flowers, ripe fruits and chirping birds re-energizing your senses. you
take a deep breath of the fresh, clean air. There are kids playing in the distance,
careless and free. you look at them, smile and walk on. Feels like a dream, doesnt
it?
Welcome to new age landscape, welcome to GREEN.
GREEN is not a color, it is an idea that combines sustainability with active living
where pools and water fountains smell of real water instead of chemicals. GREEN
is not just a patch of grass; it is a toxin-free haven where one wont have to
worry about allergic reactions on your kids. GREEN is not just pretty flowers;
its an inspiration for dwellers to lead active and social lives. GREEN is not an
expensive brick-and-mortar house, GREEN is an ideal home that will rejuvenate
your spirit and recharge your environment.

GREEN is not a dream anymore. GREEN is a reality.
WH y G O " G R E E N " ?
At GREEN our focus is on creating beautiful landscapes that inspire holistic living.
We use drought-tolerant plantings; and the latest technologies in drip, gray-water,
and rainwater harvesting to conserve water and recharge ground water. We
promote local crafts and use of non-toxic, local materials which reduces carbon
footprint and utilizes resources carefully. The plants are carefully selected to
benefit both residents and the environment by reducing pollution. This landscape
creates micro-climates which promote active living.
The goal is to create beautiful landscapes that are easy on the planet.

Bengaluru, India
Landscape ID created a unique and sustainable landscape framework for a 125 acre high-density, mixed-use development
in Bangalore. The scope also included revisions to the master plan and assistance with project phasing. Landscape ID also
assisted client in hiring local landscape and infrastructure consultants and in coordinating with the international urban
designer and MvRDv for this project. Landscape ID also advised client on the development of various projects in the
masterplan and assisted client in evaluating other consultants designs. The Urban Design is by Perkin Eastman and Cox
International. The scope also included coordination with all the infrastructure consultants and representation of the client
at workshops and project meetings. The landscape framework, again, was based on urban ecological approach.

Landscape ID worked on the temporary entry signs and gateway for the project. This entry was to be retained until the
construction of the main highway by the government was completed. Post-completion, the highway would become the
main access to the site. The idea for the temporary entrance was to create bold and iconic elements that symbolized the
arrival of a new city. These features at the entrance were designed keeping in mind their easy inclusion within the future
landscape design.

Landscape ID worked with the MvRDv - a leading global architecture frm, on the master-plan for a 17 acres high-density
apartment community. Landscape ID advised client on the housing layout, attended workshops, and provided design input
to MvRDv. The landscape master plan for the housing comunity was based on the concept of cells that can be expanded
with the phasing of the project. The landscape was envisioned as a sustainable one and followed the principles of ecological
urbanism. Because of these innovative approaches, Landscape ID was asked to speak at the CTBUHs World Tall Building
Conference in 2010.

Landscape ID was asked by the architect to design a small project located on the outskirts of Bangalore. The challenge was
to create a unique landscape for a low budget project. The main idea was to create three distinct courtyards to cater to
different user groups. The landscape was designed to be intimate in order to invite leisure exploration. Circular trellises
were placed on either sides of the pool terrace to anchor the landscape and to provide central meeting areas.

The One Bayshore site plan reflects the vibrant balance between public and private, commercial and residential,
that make urban infill mixed-use projects so successful and challenging. Public uses such as open park space
and neighborhood retail are complementary to, but secluded from, residential amenities. The re-installation of
historic brick pavers and preserved oak trees ensure a seamless transaction between old and new, historic and
contemporary.

The buildings that make up this garden-style apartment community all border a central hard-edged, man-made
water body. With amenities that span both sides of the pond are connected by a boardwalk, the pond becomes
a unifying, defining feature for the community. Meandering sidewalk trails encourage pedestrian exploration of
the propertys extensive woods and wetlands, preserved by strategic building placement.

With apartment buildings nestled between grand Live Oaks, Courtney Palms gives the illusion of being an estab-
lished community of wooded seclusion. The truth is that it took an aggressive approach to protect the sites
moss-draped oak canopy while balancing wetland preservation requirements and the clients target density. The
resulting development is well-shaded and woodsy, with a distinct character of its own.

Salalah, Oman
The scope included landscape architecture for this high-end resort in Salalah region on Oman. Located in the
Dhofar region of Oman, the landscape planting responded to the seasonal monsoons that sweep in from eastern
Africa, as well as the hotels modern architectural design. The design reflects the modern architectural elevations
and creates a clean sophisticated response to the layout and character of the outdoor spaces. Hotel walkways,
several swimming pools and smaller garden spaces, amongst the suites and villas, were carefully designed in the
landscape. The adjacent lagoon provided a sanctuary for local birds and marine life in addition to a waterway
to receive boat traffic both of which were incorporated into the hotels perimeter boardwalk and walkways.

Master plan and landscape design for a 330-hectare new golf course community on the west side of Cairo.
EDAW, together with Michael Graves Architects, Arquitectonica and Greg Norman Golf Course design worked
to minimize the impact of development and capitalize on the site's natural beauty. To achieve these goals, the
project team located schools, shops and other amenities within easy walking distance, integrated the 18 hole golf
course with parks and trails to create a continuous open space corridor and relied on xerophitic plantings to
reduce water usage. The design enhanced the existing topography of the site to preserve dramatic views across
the desert towards Cairo and the Great Pyramids at Giza.

Sifah, Oman
Landscape design of a luxury hillside resort overlooking the Indian Ocean in Al Sifah, Oman in collaboration with
Michael Graves and Associates. The design draws inspiration from vernacular Omani landscape and responds to
the strong symbolic axis of the architecture. The hotel gardens have been designed to minimize the use of water
by the selection of largely native species that require only modest inundation of water to establish and thrive.
The use of native species further enhances the sense of place and makes the resort experience truly Omani.

Scope involved master plan revisions and landscape masterplan for a destination resort along a 5km stretch of gulf coastline
in Sifah, Oman. The resort is located on a dramatic hillside between the Hajjar Mountains and the Arabian Sea and features
various hotels, villas and apartments, a marina, an 18-hole PGA golf course and club, retail venues and restaurants. The
masterplan refects Omans unique sense of place and draws inspiration from its landscape, history and culture.Taking cues
