Dear Friends and Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I hope things are going well with you.

I have some exciting news that I wanted to share! I have been accepted to be a part of a group called Kingdom Building Ministries (KBM) for the summer of 2013. KBM along with The Experience participants have visited the Caribbean Mountain Academy (crosswindsyouth.org) campus here in the DR where I have been serving for the last 4 summers, and I have had the chance to observe this group as they are collectively and individually stretched and used by the Lord on the CMA campus as well as around the island. KBM is an evangelical Christian, para-church that partners with other ministries to challenge, equip, and mobilize Christians to become Kingdom laborers. I now have the exciting opportunity to not just observe this group, but to be a part of it and to personally be stretched in my spiritual walk with the Lord. I have thought about this, prayed, and talked it over with many close friends. I really feel like this is an opportunity that I cannot pass up and one that the Lord is calling me to. I will be part of The Experience, which is separated into 2 phases. Phase 1 is 57 days of intense discipleship training climaxing with an international mission into the heart of Haiti ...all designed to take those involved deeper in their relationship with God and to help to live the rest of their life on-purpose for Gods Kingdom. Phase 2 is 10 months of on-going coaching and support designed to challenge participants to apply what theyve learned during phase 1 as they transition back into the context of their home and community environments. The dates of the trip are May 18, 2013-July 13, 2013. The total cost of the trip is $5600. I am writing to ask for your financial support as well as your prayers.
