It mentions several gems in homeopathic dilution, trying to gather the information which is, at this moment, available on their homeopathic provings, as well as their therapeutic uses in other unconventional/unorthodox medicines. The are several reasons of beginning with diamond (adamas); the first important reason is that there have already been carried out several homeopathic provings by different authors. The second reason is that diamond remedies are already mentioned in some homeopathic computerized repertories, and therefore, it is appropriate of putting them in a (paper) repertory as well. The third reason is that a certain clinical experience already exists concerning the pathogenes of this energized gem. The fourth reason is that the diamond exists as medicine/remedy in the homeopathic Spanish List and, therefore, one can use it. The purpose of this work is to check if similarity exists among the different uses of diamond in different therapies, such as Ayurvedic medicine, Cristal Therapy, and Homeopathy and in addition to check if the action of the remedy, shows an equal or similar action in the same degree in both homeopathic and non-homeopathic preparations, comparing the symptoms of the homeopathic provings and the clinical experience with energized diamond and without energizing. Finally, it also offers a comparative study of the homeopathic medicines/remedies, basis of which is the pure (carbon, graphites, diamond, carbo fullerenum (new molecule of C60) carbon, and impure forms such as carbo vegetabilis, analyzing the topics, concepts and keynotes of these remedies.

1 -. Introduction to Gem Therapy. The therapy with gems is a therapy form using the colors, which goes all the way back to ancient times. The use of a colored gem has a similar effect to the use of a color filter. It seems that in the old civilizations of Lemuria and of Atlantis the use of glasses for a cure was therapeutic common practice. Plato's dialogues tell us that the residents from Atlantis knew how to use the energy and healing properties of the gems expertly, and that the reason of the destruction of its civilization was the wrong use they made of them. In both cultures, Lemuria and Atlantis, the gems were used for the spiritual growth, the increase of the individual conscience and the regeneration of the physical body. The gems were used during hundred of years in other historical civilizations such as Egypt and Babylon, as well as by the Aztecs, Mayan, Toltecas and in China. In certain dependent societies of the animal kingdom the use of certain gems allowed people to keep in control, which is also referred to in the Druidic traditions, Ayurvedic and Taoists. We also see that history of man is closely linked to the presence of precious stones. Right from the beginning, the Chamanes used the stones like a bridge between nations and they developed the teaching that gems had a triple nature, similar to the nature of human beings. As such, they possessed body, soul and spirit; their body was its perceptible materiality; its soul was its energy and power; its spirit, the conscience of the superior thing that had crystallized inside them. The precious stones were files of the ancestral knowledge. The old ones knew that they were in the earth from immemorial time. Therefore, analogically, it was believed that they had learned the knowledge of the earth and that they could transmit it. With the coming of the monotheism the culture of the stones suffered a loss of power. In the new doctrines, the sacred stones stopped to have spiritual powers and their material value became more important. It is considered that the tradition of the stones infiltrated in Judaism during those more than 400 years and that it was also embraced by the Egyptians. Moses wrote the 10 commandments in two stone slabs and according to some authors the first one was of emerald and the second one of lapis lazuli. Later, twelve stones were encased in the pectoral of the Supreme Priest of Salomons Temple, in accordance with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. During the first years of the Christian era, Plinio the Old one, one of the most important doctors in the Roman empire, describes in the Lapidary tablets the different applications of the gems and minerals to halfway of the history of medicine and occult traditions. The Catholic Church also adopted a strong opposition to the tradition of the stones, condemning in several councils the practice of its use, which didn't impede its popularization in the Half Age. The knowledge of the druids were preserved for initiate, secret societies and for the popular tradition of the witches. Another part of this knowledge entered in Europe through the Arabs. In the works of Avicena (9801037), for example, the knowledge of the Greeks was conserved on the

precious stones. They were very popular medieval LAPIDARIUMS suggesting countless cure formulas, being served as the powers of the precious stones and their association with the grasses. Among them we find the Lapidary of Alfonso X The Sage. Also the medical alchemists, with Paracelso (14931541) as a more representative figure, used different minerals for the treatment of different affections. Surprisingly, in Aragon, the practice of using precious stones has been conserved until now and the well-known first Aragonese pharmacopeia, published in 1546, begins with the description of Electuary of gems of Mesue, in which components appear such as the sapphire and emerald among others. Gaspar of Morales and druggist Zaragozano, born in the 16th century, published in 1605 The Book of the Virtues and Wonderful Properties of the Precious Stones, dedicated specifically to the study of the prepared remedies with the help of gems. With Hahnemann, at the end of the 18th century and principles of the 19th century, the first reference of the use of homeopathized substances, viz. natural minerals appeared, which were prepared according to the therapeutic method that he systematized. In the Homeopathic Materia Medicas important remedies appeared, which were prepared from native minerals,such as Graphites (Graphite), Antimonium crudum (estibina) or Cinnabaris (cinnabar). Nowadays the Homeopathic Materia Medicas have been enlarged with the pathogeneses of new minerals and gems like alabaster, amber, diamond, emerald, granite, lapis lazuli, marble, mica and zirconium as additions to classic remedies such as Hekla lava and Lapis albus. At the beginning of the 20th century the Anthroposophic Medical School, based on the work of Rudolf Steiner, grants great importance to the employment of homeopathized mineral to restore the human being's integral balance and it establishes very precise analogies between the different organs of the human body and the different metals and minerals of those metals. A very important reference in the therapeutic use of the precious stones is the work of Bhattacharya `GEM THERAPY` 1976, which has acquired great popularization as much in India as in West,and in which gems are considered to be inexhaustible mines of the 7 colors of the rainbow, that is to say, of the 7 colors constituting the cosmos or universe. All cells of the organism are formed by the seven rays of the rainbow and illness is attributed to a color deficiency that can be contributed by the gems. Bhattacharya indicates the way of elaboration of the gem therapic preparations and he prefers the use of potentized/homeopathic gem medicines. Also M. Tetau and C. Bergeret, presented in 1974 the theoretical and practical bases of litotherapy, a method that uses therapeutic minerals and rocks that have been diluted and energized according to the homeopathic method. In this system the therapeutic action is attributed to the preparations of its presumed action dequelatrix.

At the present time it has been verified that the oligo elements present wave longitudes sensibly equivalent to those that are used in cromotherapy, that is to say, they present the same therapeutic capacities as the color rays. Their use in function of the color "vehicled" confirms that the human organism perceives the electromagnetic information of the light in the same way as that of the matter and since the effect of each oligo element is known, it is possible to use them with great precision as substitution of the color rays. For some years now many authors have been interested in the realization of provings or homeopathic pathogeneses with gems and now we can mention the realization and publication of the following ones: Diamond (ADAMAS), made by Jeremy Sherr and included in his book DYNAMIC PROVINGS (Volume I), published by Dynamis Books in 1997, which also includes the pathogeneses of GERMANIUM, IRIDIUM and NEON. There are also 2 provings of diamond carried out by SANKARAN and B. FINCKE and one carried out recently by PETER TUMMINELLO and mentioned in his book "Twelve jewels" (Australia, 2005) Granite (Granitum), pathogenesis carried out by Nuala Eising in Ireland (Burren School of Homeopathy, Galway) and published by the same author. Another proving of granite has been carried out by Schmid Andersch-Hartner in 1997 and published in DocHom 1997. Emmerald (Smaragdus), pathogenesis realized for London College of Homeopathy in 1996 and published by Eigenverlag. Also by Madeline Evans in her book MEDITATIVE PROVINGS, published by The Rose Press, York (England). A more recent proving has been carried out by MOYA ROSS, and SARA CAMPBELL (The Homeopathic and Meditative Proving of Emerald). Included also in PETER'S book TUMMINELLO "Twelve jewels" Turquoise: pathogenesis published by The Desert Institute Publishing, Arizona (director of the proving: Todd Rowe)2005. Included also in PETER'S book TUMMINELLO "Twelve jewels" Zirconium (Zirconium), pathogenesis carried out by Hom. College Wageningen, in 1993 and published by Jan Scholten in his book Homeopathy and Elements. Moonstone (Albita): No pathogenesis, but Vijnovsky has published it in his Homeopathic Materia Medica, i.e. the clinical successful experience with the use of this mineral. Mica: pathogenesis is in the medical matter of Vijnovsky, among others. Alabaster, carried out in 2002 by Caroline Redmond, Chris Wilkinson, Diane Murray, Gordon Adam and Teresa Moore. Amber (Succinum), carried out by Nuala Eising (English). Burren School of Homeopathy, Caherawoneen, Kinuara, Co. Galway, Eire (Ireland). It also appears in the medical matter of Vijnovsky. There is another proving carried out by P.Konig and F.Swoboda in 1995 and published in DocHom 1985:6:239-63 Basaltic Lava: pathogenesis revised in December of 1994 by Misha Norland and School of Homeopathy. Lapis lazuli: pathogenesis developed by the team of Escola Paulista of Homeopathy, Sao Paulo (Brazil). There is also another published by Anne Schaddde (Germany). Some of the most interesting contributions to the topic correspond with the findings of J. Callao Martnez in his book "HOMEOPATHY AND MINERALOGY. PRONTUARIO DE GEMOTERAPIA HOMEOPTICA", (Zaragoza, 1995) In his work an innovator mentions the forms of therapeutic use of the gems, valuing the polarity of the minerals for organs and meridians, as well as its therapeutic activity. His work enlarges the classic field of homeopathy by including elements of the Chinese energetics and of cromatotherapy using it as a therapeutic vehicle for the gems in homeopathic dilution. We also mention the work of the Australian doctor Peter Tumminello, TWELVE JEWELS", published in 2005. Jan Scholten says in the foreword that it is an extension of the medical matter that offers a deep knowledge of the remedies and this personal implication means that homeopathy continues to be alive. In this publication, Tumminello explains the realization of the proving of 12 well-known gems, as well

as some clinical cases in which these precious stones were used. In this way he takes a further step into the knowledge of the Kingdom of the minerals in homeopathy, revealing the light, which may be the most complex and orderly of all,i.e those that present a crystallization system. The diamond receives its name of the Greek adamas, which means invincible, although other authors say that it comes from Latin adamantem which means the unconquerable one, referring to its great hardness. Being the hardest of all gems, diamonds were not modelled for the jewellers in old times. Until the 8th century, they were granted less importance than emeralds, rubies and pearls. In the 8th century, the Indian jewellers invented the art of carving the faces milling a diamond with another different piece of diamond in a wheel to mill, which increased their shine and the unfolding of colours known as "fire". Until the beginning of the 18th century the diamonds came from India. Until 1498, Venice was the link between India and Europe and Brujas, where many Italian merchants lived and Venice became the world centre where the diamonds were carved. This gem is the hardest of all natural substances. Is crystallized carbon similar to the chemical stucture of graphite, one of the softest substances we know ? Do the atoms of carbon take the very compact cubic structure of diamond in place of a hexagonal structure and much more open than graphite ? This is only one of the mysteries presented by the diamond. In the scale of hardness it shows the possible maxim, 10, above the Sapphire (Corydon) which has 9. But there is not a lineal relationship since diamond is between 90 and 180 times harder than sapphire.

The diamond glasses belong to the cubic system. In their more perfect aspect they present a octahedral form, i.e. two equilateral pyramids with a square base, united by the bases. Many diamond glasses present an almost rounded form, partly to the curved form of the faces. It is common that these curved glasses appear surrounded by a kind of a cuticle or membrane called black "nyf". This black lining is made of the same substance as diamond and it maintains the hidden glass in its interior. The minerals that crystallize in the cubic system resonate or act with the chakra or vortex located in the area of the sacred one of the subtle human anatomy. Their physical repercussion will be therefore in connection with endocrine glands as the gonads. Formation of the diamond. The diamantiferous areas present a floor of yellowish typical colour in which the stones appear. In the beginning it was believed that these lands were part of fluvial old beds or it was fluvial earth that had crawled for many years by the floods and that it had been deposited in low areas. The diamantiferous yellow earth has a depth of about 18 m. and it rests on a stratum of harder (grey schist) earth and is called blue earth. Later the geologic studies allowed understanding the origin of these diamantiferous formations well. It was seen that it was really about the openings of chimneys that went inside to unknown depths in the terrestrial bark. These chimneys contain an igneous brechada rock rich in iron that was baptized with the kimberlita name. The kimberlita, or blue earth, is a rich peridotita in olivino (the peridot of the jewelers) of cyan colour. In the surface, and due to alterations of atmospheric type, the earth takes a yellow type of colour, because of the oxidation of the contained iron in the rock. The yellow earth is simply a rusty stage of the blue earth. What is the origin of diamond ? All the diamantiferous fields, except the kimberlita chimneys, are alluvial deposits. This means diamond is not in the rocks where it is formed, and for this occurrence these aquatic deposits don't provide us with any information on the problem of their genesis. The chimneys outline many questions, but they don't give a conclusive answer explaining why the carbon crystallizes in the cubic system instead of doing so in the hexagonal, more frequent system that gives place to the graphite. They are many theories to explain the formation of diamond; the most obvious thing is to suppose some conditions of temperature and very high pressure. It is debatable if the diamonds crystallize in the bowels of the earth and then arrive together to the chimneys with the rocks, or if they crystallize directly in the chimneys. The genesis of the diamond continues to be a mystery. The alluvial deposits probably derive of non discovered chimneys which mouths are upholstered by more recent strata or that have been buried by geologic movements in former times.

Physical and chemical properties : The chemical structure of diamond is very interesting, because each atom of carbon is in the centre of a regular tetrahedron and is connected to four other atoms of carbon that are in the vertexes of the tetrahedron. The structure appears therefore as a system of crisscross hexagons, with each atom united covalently to the four remaining. Due to the vicinity of the atoms, 1,54 Angstroms (1 Angstrom = 10 .7 mm) and to the fact that the whole glass behaves as if it was really a molecule, it is very difficult to break the structure, because it would be necessary for it to break the very strong atomic links first. This explains the chemical stability and the hardness of the diamond.

Effects of the light on the diamond Optic properties: What does take place with the typical great shine of diamond ? The explanation can be found in certain optic inherent properties of this precious stone: 1-The first of them is the adamantine lustre due to the combined effect of a good polish and the quality of the light reflected in the surface. 2-The second cause is the capacity that possesses a well carved diamond of reflecting a sheaf of rays that impact in its front part. The rays of light that enter the diamond change and they experience what can be called a refraction effect. The value of this deviation is given by the index called refraction. Due to the relatively high value of this refraction index, the rays that arrive to the later facets experience a total reflection and they leave for the front part again. It has the highest refraction index which means that it disperses the light more than any colourless other gem. 3-The third optic effect that originates in this peculiar attractiveness of the diamond is the so called "fire" of the gem. The fire, scientifically well-known with the dispersion name, is the separation of the white light in the diverse colours of the spectrum. In the case of diamond, the dispersion is very clear. This effect is motivated by the different indexes of refraction of each one of the coloured components of the white light that impacts on the stone. Each colour ray possesses a slightly different index and hence the journeys inside the glass will also be diverse. Spectrum of absorption: The visible light that passes through a diamond can be examined by means of a spectroscope, which nearly always makes some dark lines disappear in correspondence with certain areas of the spectrum. These bands of absorption are very suitable to determine the identity of many coloured gems. Contrary to the remaining precious stones which bands of absorption are due to the chemical elements of the glass, either as constituent part or as sludges, in diamond the lines are due to the crystalline structure or to alterations in it. The spectra of absorption of most of the diamonds can be divided in two groups. In the first place, we find the diamonds of the series Cape, real colour of which varies from the target to the yellow. In this group the line of more intense absorption corresponds to a value of 4.155 Angstroms, in the part violet of the spectrum. This line varies of intensity according to the depth of the colour of the stone, but it appears in an almost constant way, even in the colourless diamonds. In the cases that this line is very intense they also appear differently associated to 4785 Angstroms, 4650, 4520, 4350 and 4230, all of them in the blue part or violet of the spectrum. Only the one of 4785 TO is

easily visible. The second group is formed by diamonds that possess a brown, yellow greenish or green tint. These stones have a spectrum of absorption whose preferential line is a narrow one to 5040 Angstroms in the green area of the spectrum. The blue (type II b) diamonds don't show any spectrum of absorption. Certain diamonds are more transparent to the ultraviolet light than others. For this reason the stones are classified in two groups: Type I and Type II. Those of Type I are transparent up to about 3000 TO while those of the type II are much more transparent and they pass the ultraviolet light up to about 2250 A. The difference in the absorption of ultraviolet light is due to the presence of free nitrogen in Type I. In the diamonds of Type II nitrogen doesn't exist, but yes there is presence of boron in the diamonds II b. It seems that the well formed glasses depend somehow on the presence of nitrogen and it is clear that the diamonds of great size without a crystalline perfect form are almost always of the type II. Synthesis of diamonds During more than a hundred years all types of tests have been carried out by scientists trying to transform the black forms and branding the carbon (graphite or firewood coal) in the transparent and hard material form to get diamond. Due to its extremely simple chemical composition, pure carbon, it could be supposed that the synthesis of the diamond was simple and quick. The carbon, heated to the full, volatilizes at 2000 grades C, inferior to their coalition point; the formed vapour doesn't condense to give diamond, but to give a black and soft substance, isomorphic of the previous one that is hexagonal graphite, the stable form of carbon in normal temperature and with normal pressure. Carbon is not dissolved in any normal solvent, but changes into fused iron to a certain extent. The fact that the diamond appears in volcanic rich chimneys in iron it suggests that the pressure is also an essential condition in the formation of the glasses and it allows to suppose a possible crystallization of the diamond due to pressure and adapted temperature, starting from a break-up of carbon in fused iron. This was the basis of the first experiences carried out to synthesize this gem, but the theoretical thermodynamics point out this synthesis as impossible.

Graphite is the stable form of carbon at normal temperatures and pressure of up to 15000 atmospheres. Diamond is the form of carbon to discharge pressures. The diamond is quite stable, but to be exact, it is in its form meta-stable, as it is easy to discover if we heat to superior temperatures of 1750C without contact with air it`ll become graphite. In presence of air, the diamond begins to burn at a superior temperature of 700C when combined with the oxygen of the atmosphere to form dioxide of carbon. At a temperature of 1750C the thermal agitation of the atoms becomes so energetic that they separate the net of the diamond and form the most stable net in Graphite. As diamond it is the modification to high temperature of the carbon, and high pressure is necessary to transform graphite into diamond. However, the pressure only is not enough and it is also necessary that the temperature rises and that the atoms begin to vibrate with sufficient energy to break the links of the graphite and to be available to form the net of the diamond. 3.- The diamond in the ayurvedic tradition


In Ayurveda one could not conceive another and better way to transform the gems into administrable medicines than to incinerate them and during centuries they were reduced to valuable ashy (bhasmas) gems. In the ayurvedic works of India methods have been described for such use. Concretely the ash of diamond is used to treat health affections such as leprosy, consumption, emaciation, hallucinations, dropsy, obesity, diabetes, water-pipe, anaemia and inflammations; it prolongs life, strengthens the body, nurtures the fabrics, improves the complexion and it gives tranquillity and well-being to the body. According to Harish Johari, Hindu author, diamond ash (oxide) is useful in all kinds of disorders created by wind, bile, or snot, in tuberculosis, disorders created by fat, obesity, cholesterol problems, chronic diarrhoea, impotence and viral illnesses. It provides prana (vital energy). It is useful for epilepsy, paralysis, insanity, hernia, premature aging, sterility and uterine illnesses. It is useful also for general weakness, mental weakness, diabetes and jaundice. It makes the body strong and it provides longevity. It is used for angina pectoris, bad circulation, anaemia and weakness of the nerves, bad vision, blindness, menstrual disorders, leucorrhoea and burning sensations inside the body.

Another way to use the gems according to the ayurvedic tradition is to use diamonds for making rings and amulets, or used according to astrology to get rid of misfortune and to cure illnesses both physical and mental. In astrology it is believed that certain planets believe that certain illnesses exist. The astrologers discovered a law some time ago which was a lot similar to the sufferings taking place on a certain planet, which sufferings ccould be treated with the sacred gem of such a star. In this way, in Hindu astrology, the diamond is governed by the planet Venus and it is prescribed for due illnesses to a weak Venus in the horoscope: sterility, corrupt sperm, syphilis, diabetes, difficult micturition, uterine dysfunctions, gonorrhoea, due illnesses to intoxication, hernia, hydrocele, ginecofobia (fear of women), weakness, anasarca and premature age, leucorrhoea, thinness, laziness, aversion to food, and hallucinations. The gemotherapists of the ayurvedic system also use the water of gems in their therapy. (in the Occident they are denominated elixirs or essences) and alcohol is also used with gems ( in the Occident known as extracts). The use of water, alcohol, ashy and powder of gems is always based on the same principle. This principle, which constitutes the dorsal thorn of the ayurvedic cure, is to detect the imbalance in the three humours of the body and to re-establish the chemical balance subjecting the increased humour. We picked up the texts of some authors here on the therapeutic uses of the diamond,and we`ll be using the gem as stone, or by means of the taking of extract or diamond elixir, prepared according to the techniques of elaboration of the extracts of gems. Properties of the diamond according to Hildegarda of Bingen:

Sacred Hildegarda of Bingen was a German abbess that lived during the 7th century. She developed a religious, scientific, artistic intense work and even politics, founded two monasteries and maintained

The diamond is par excellence the symbol of the limpidity, of the perfection, of the hardness, of the brightness; it is the sovereign, unalterable, invincible, and powerful stone against the wrongs that attack mankind. Benoytosh Bhattacharya, Hindu medical homoeopath, applied the ayurvedic principles from the tridosha to homeopathy, classifying the homeopathic remedies agreement with the vayu (air) prevalence, pitta (fire) and kapha (combination of water and earth) and prescribing being based on a detailed reading of the pulse. Bhattacharya was a revolutionary pioneer and he pled for the combination of homeopathic remedies, for example those that represented the doshas and the seven dhatus or ingredients that the human body is made of.

According to the Hindu author Bhattacharya, the gems should be conceived as condensations of the seven colours of the rainbow, the seven colours that constitute the cosmos or universe. In this way diamond would be a concentrate of the indigo colour, although this tonality is not perceived at first sight but when it is examined with a prism. In the human body the indigo colour represents all the thick lymphs, including the cough and dense secretions, even the pus and other sticky matters, as well as sperm. The indigo colour belongs to the benign planet Venus and just like diamond, corresponds with water at the beginning.Both are cold and of positive nature. In the medical Indian books it is sustained that diamond contains the six flavours: sweet, sour, salt, spicy, bitter and astringent. They should be considered effective medicine for all kinds of difficult illnesses that originate in the simultaneous interference of the three tridosha elements: vayu (air), pitta (fire) and kapha (it dilutes). Bhattacharya and other medical Hindus, as well as Dr. Humberto Viadas in Mexico use inert globules impregnated with alcohol or "extract" of gems to prepare gem medicines. In Bhattacharya`s book the elaboration procedure is described consisting of submerging the stone in a flask with alcohol to cover it and to leave it seven days and seven nights to the coat of the white light. The reason for the Christ's experience is that the most mighty one is an inherent renunciation symbolism, viz.suffering and death. And it is an indicator of the transcendence through the suffering, always referring to the cleaning of the egotist and small sense of ourselves, in terms of desires and material, emotional or mental necessities and in opposition to the high ideals as wanting the well for all. The person that needs gems may be carrying a cross in her/his life and be sort of crucified by beliefs or principles, suffering a personal test or "be crucified" by their own ideals or mission. -Sixth sense, conscious energy, cure: The gems have always been associated with the power of protecting against misfortunes, illnesses or dangers, or acting as an oracle. They have been used as talisman by many cultures in this way. Often people using these remedies have or develop paranormal abilities soon after taking them. Often it is a deep intuition that can be shown in telepathy, vision of auras, clarihearing, clairvoyance or conscience of internal and external fields of energy and energy centres. Sankaran (The elements of homeopathy), father of Rends Sankaran, also did a proving in the year 1969 with 4 experimenters and two checks, using diamond in trituration (diamond powder and nondiamond substance in immersion) This proving was carried out again in 1970 with 5 experimenters and again two checks. The used potency was 30CH, two daily doses, one in the morning and another at night. An excellent symptom that was observed in these provings was the headache associated with sugar, and improved appetite. In one experimenter this symptom lasted for two years after the realization of the proving! The following proving was carried out by Jeremy Sherr, who published its pathogenesis in 1997 (Dynamic Provings, vol. I). Sherr used a diamond (diamond powder) trituration with dynamizations from 4CH up to 200CH. According to Sherr, "this proving has marked the essence of the diamond and we hope it cures many people that are "infected" by our social modern structure in which we are beginning to lose our individual vision and our address. The energized diamond of the proving of Sherr speaks of big topics around the lack of clarity and vision. The diamond patient can also have very clear thoughts,but not very confused ideas. The diamond owes its structure to millions of years of pressure and heat. One could hope this slow process would mark the character of the diamond patient. And this seems to be correct according to the proving of Sherr, although we also see the opposed side: intolerance, impatience, mordacity and criticism. They can use expressions such as: "everybody irritates" me,and `I Need to enter with somebody." The experimenters noticed that they were quick with sensation and impatience and some felt hyperactive. Some of the important symptoms were the clarity, sharpness, hardness, positivism and capacity to make a decision. On the other hand, we can see in the diamond patient feelings of uselessness, minusvalue, not being quite good, not being sufficiently grateful and that he/she is not valued in their work. The diamond types can also have the duality in dependence / independence, being able to, and impotence. A very characteristic symptom of the experimenters was the twinkling sensation of gleams. He/she can also have urgent desire to defecate and may need to run to the toilet/lavatory in the morning and when sleeping at night he may also have to get up to defecate urgently. There is also aversion to ice creams, fat, milk and a desire for cheese, coffee, fish, fruit, shellfish, smoky salmon, vegetables, he can be foaming from the mouth with bubbles. He/she can feel worse for alcohol and cold drinks. Sherr (link to the file of the rubrics) Peter Tumminello, Australian doctor, carried out the last pathogenesis of diamond, in which he didn`t crush diamond but used diamond as departure material (Diamond immersion) "immersion" that we could call "elixir "or diamond "essence." Therefore it is a preparation different from the adamas of Sherr.

Tumminello prepared the same "elixir" (diamond immersion)in 1994 and he gave it to a prover, who was a highly sensitive and capable person and he elucidated many characteristics and topics. The provings groups were carried out in April and May, 1997 and in February, 2000. The departure diamond was of high quality in its original form of glass octahedral. The immersion (allowing the substance to remain in water and later on energizing that water) method was used to maintain the energy integrity of the whole glass and in this way enabling it to exhibit its finest potentialities. These are the most excellent features in the proving of Tumminello: -NEGATIVE ESSENCE: patient is encroached by the pain, suffering and torture of diamond. As medicine for depression and suicide, it takes a step beyond Aurum in its devastating compulsion to self-destruction. This is due to an innate feeling of being a failure as a person, of being very imperfect; a dangerous hate exists towards him/herself. Diamond is the destroyer of ego. A large number of experimenters felt this state during several months and they exhibited a powerful process during its resolution: negative different states are expressed as hardness for oneself, sensation of endless obstacles, feeling of not being worthy of either affection or love, of being criticized, of not being oneself in his/her life, of being a continued entire failure, of being a great imperfection. This state keeps a relationship with Aurum and many patients improved over the years using this remedy and were cured with the appropriate dose of diamond. C) Clinical experiences with diamond in homeopathic dilution : Let`s bear in mind that the experiences of Bhattacharya, although he used impregnated globules, were not from using potentized gems, but from using diamond "extract" without energizing. In Spain and concretely in Saragossa, Dr. Jos Callao has worked with gems in homeopathic dilution during more than 20 years. Fruits of his vast work with gems is described in his book HOMEOPATHY AND MINERALOGY. PRONTUARIO DE GEMOTERAPIA HOMEOPTICA" (Ed. Make, Zaragoza 1995). He describes the clinical experiences of almost 50 gems and he does this in a study that shows the value and the polarity of the minerals for organs and meridians, as well as their therapeutic activity. The data were object of a statistical estimate, results of which are described in the book. The work system (selection of the gems and their power for kinesiology and functional organometry + statistical later estimate)shows us the experimental reproduction of the results, although it is not a double blind study. In his book Homeopathy and Mineralogy, Dr. experience with diamond in the following way: Callao explains his

"Psychologically, we can say that diamond is the Lycopodium of the gems. As such, the sensitive patient to the action of the diamond, needs to be wanted and respectfully treated in her/his work. According to what seems to be clear in 10 cases of depression, people lived or felt alone with an unsatisfied necessity of affection throughout the years. In most of the cases the evolution was satisfactory. And 25% of the patients didn`t object at all to the study. The diamond is also one of the gems that should think of juvenile psychoses, in their initial phase. In allergic rhinitis with a certain grade of bronchial affectation the diamond association with homeopathic dilutions of Pollens` 15 CH, 30 CH, 200 CH and 50.000 K and/or other medications (Sarcolacticum acidum, Natrum Nitricum, Pulsatilla, Psorinum, Phosphorus...) was satisfactory in an inferior term up to 20 days. Although it is necessary to point out that other gems like blue beryl, labradorita adventure and lapis lazuli, can have a magnificent action in rhinitis as well. The selection of one of them should be made by functional organometry and/or kinesiology, being the most appropriate thing to carry out the tests on the deltoids muscle and internationally accepted as expression of the meridian of the lung. The action of diamond is also reparative at the level of discal intervertebral pathology (red Beryl). In more than 12 cases, the diamond association and Labradorita aventurina showed some results which are necessary to identify them satisfactorily and we see more than enough secondary lumbosciaticas or discal hernias or surgical scar post intervention of discal hernias. But in 35% of the cases it was not possible with related security, because in private medicine it is not always possible to realize an economically expensive test, such as T.A.C. or R.M.N. And frequently the doctor cannot consent to the studies carried out with the hospital means.

The homeopathic medication association depended fundamentally on the lesion level. It will be sufficient, for example, to remember that the 4th lumbar vertebra and the space among L4-L5 are governed by the (liver) gall bladder (Medhorrinum, Gonotoxinum, Chelidonium, Zincum picrinicum...)
