BRIEF A research based investigation of branding and identity with a focus on finding out what alternative career Graphic Designers & Illustrators would consider.

CONCEPT The whole focus of this brief was to be able to get in touch with designers and studios that I am interested in to find out about their alternative career and produce a range of prints that could be sent out to each individual. The brief allows myself to have a focus on branding and identity design.

Branding & Identity Working on creating a visual identity for each designer according to their chosen career choice. Chose to work with just black rather than full colour as it works better like this aesthetically.

Careers Chose to develop a total of 24 visual identities (Including my own) from all of the research I had gathered according to the designers who had got back in touch with me in a set amount of time.

FORMAT Producing A3 format prints as each designer will then receive their individual print a long with a print that includes all 24 branded identities.

PRINTS Printed onto A3 grey stock and individually stamped with my own logo, adding a personal touch to each of the prints before theyre sent out to designers. Looking at posting them in the new year.

Packaging Using a standard brown A3 postal with the address and alternative careers logo printed in a repeat pattern onto clear sticker paper.

INSERT A small insert to be included in each tube which thanks each designer for getting back to me with their answer, again stamped with my logo.

PUBLICATION 12 page A5 printed publication, includes all 24 identities as well as the original written answer from each designer. Quotes are in alphabetical order according to the career choice with each logo being number and matched up to the quote.

FORMAT Choosing to keep it as A5 format, due to the number of pages and amount of content. Starting with a message from myself, followed by 2 double page spreads with the identities with the remaining pages having the quotes.

Finish Front cover printed onto a red stock with black foil and inner pages printed onto the same stock as the accompanying prints.
