Capital Area Bah Center Task Force

P.O. Box 441906 Fort Washington, Maryland 20749 Message for the Feast of Loftiness (Al), March 1/2, 2007 Volume 1, Number 11 Dear Friends, Through your steadily increasing contributions two of the personal loans have been paid off, totalling $30,000, that allowed purchase of the property in 2001! This progress is very encouraging. We are facing a challenge though, because $810,000 in personal Bah loans remain and they are due in May of this year. We need to refinance this amount and are asking Bahs to consider offering personal loans in amounts and durations that they are comfortable with. Market interest rates will be paid quarterly. $55,000 has been offered to date. Come May, whatever shortfall exists will need to be covered with a commercial loan where the interest paid will leave the Bah community. Loan offers and related questions should be directed to Lecile Webster at 301-585-0881 Goal for year ending 4/30/07: or lecile@juno.com

To reserve a day at the property for your communitys activity contact Tony at 410-245-5316 or creamera@comcast.net. The first of many plans required prior to construction was recently filed with the county. This resulted in reclassification of 4 lots as for religious use and return of $4,000 in recently paid property taxes.

A circular mile-long meditation trail connects 9 prayer stations. Each spring these prayer stations are offered for sponsorship by Assemblies who can then landscape them in unique ways for the enjoyment of all visitors. To become a sponsor this year contact Steve at stephen.buczinski@verizon.net. The 43.6 acre property is located a few minutes south of the D.C. Beltway at 11111 Riverview Road, Fort Washington, Maryland. It is administered by the Spiritual Assemblies of Prince Georges County South and Montgomery County SE.
