Sharon Fowle. In order to make this task as easy and

My column last week inving comment about the
possibility of the community celebrang Liturgies of
the Word on those days when Mass is unable to be
celebrated because of my absence appears to have
createdsomeconfusion.

Forthesakeofclarity,andtosetateasethemindsof
those who were concerned, let me state clearly that
my proposal did not envisage the recepon of
Communion at such celebraons. The focus would be
on being nourished by the Word of God, having
gathered together to listen and reect on the Sacred
Scriptures.

major campaign to raise funds for the Forster
Womens Shed, supporng women and children in

There are many children and young people in the
Hunter who are unable to live with their parents or
extended family. CatholicCares OutofHome Care
Program helps these children grow up or spend me
in loving and caring homes through recruing Foster
Carers who open up their hearts and homes to care
for these children. Unfortunately there are always
more children needing a caring home than the
