Procedures For Coping Existing Remote Control To RMC-600

Open cover of RMC-600 Place RMC-600 in front of your existing remote control on a flat surface. NOTE: Keep away from metal table. Press buttons from both units simultaneously using two fingers from the same hand. Adjust the frequency (with your other hand): Holding onto the buttons of both units about 1"-2" apart. When both transmitters LED lights are blinking, notice the LED will flash 3 times at a brighter level. Tune the frequency by using the enclosed screw driver. Turn the frequency adjuster clockwise or counter-clockwise so that the LED light now shows at the brightest point. Hold on to both transmitters and enlarge the distance (no more than 2 inches) between both units. The LED light of the RMC-600 will become weaker. Turn the frequency adjuster clockwise or counter-clockwise until the LED light is at its brightest. CAUTION : If the LED light fails to flash 3 times, (the product is designed for three-stage frequency adjustment), move jumper 1 (set in the first stage) to jumper 2; if in the last step you can't reach desired frequency retry with NO jumper until reaching desired frequency (usually 3rd stage between 355-500 MHz). Code duplication for each button: Press the buttons of both transmitters at the same time until the LED light flashes 3 times (this indicates the code & frequency of the original transmitter has been duplicated). You may copy up to four transmitters of the same frequency by following the steps above. To copy other transmitters of the same frequency, simply press the buttons of both transmitters simultaneously and wait for the LED light of the RMC-600 to flash 3 times. No further frequency adjustment is required once the first button is successfully copied. To begin using the RMC-600 remove jumper 2, your RMC-600 is now operational. DO NOT DISCARD THIS JUMPER PUT IT ON ONE JUMPER POLE TO SAVE IT NOTE: Interference may cause undesired operation. Please keep away from metal, electric or electronic interference when duplicating.
