HPA CP/CLA EXAM STUDY GROUP ORIENTATION MEETING

HPA will be offering a study group in preparation for the May 2013 CP/CLA Exam with instruction from several outstanding paralegals currently working in the legal eld. This study group is available to HPA Members only. The orientation meeting on January 12, 2013, will be used to discuss the schedule of all classes, conference with paralegals that have already taken the exam,information onpreparing for the exam, materials to be used during the class, etc. The study group will meet twice in person: once for the orientation meeting and once for the mock exam at the end of the study group.All other meetings will be done via Webex.Of course, additional in person meetings can be discussed on an as needed basis throughout the study group with HPA's Education Liaison, Ms. Joya Williams and HPA's Nala Liaison, Ms. Kelly Corbin. Additionally, a private forum will be set up forparticipantsto post questions, concernsand issues on HPA's website regarding the exam.Access to this forum will ONLY be granted to participants and the instructors. Cost for the study group will be $100 for members and $140 for non-members.Participants will be responsible for obtaining the CLA/CP Study Manual and Mock Exam books. CHEVRON HOUSTON MARATHON Volunteer Event Tanglewood & Huckleberry - Refueling Station 17 Date: Sunday, January 13, 2013 @ 6:30 a.m. HPA is currently recruiting members/guests of members to join us at the Chevron Marathon. Members/guests will be volunteer their time and eort at Refueling Station 17.
