oman medicine is advancing rapidly through the world of medicine.

We have come a long way in this field that was once unknown to us. I am proud to say that I work in the Roman medical field because of the brilliant innovations and procedures we have dominated. While we didnt focus a lot on different remedies, we did advance greatly in public health and sanitation. Greek ideas in medicine greatly affect the advancements that we make in Roman medical field. Before our close interactions with the Greeks, the head of the household was the doctor. All medical inquisitions were answered by the alpha male. While we learned a lot from the Greeks, we also made advancements of our own. We took the ideas that came to us and improved on them to create a better life for all Romans. We, Romans, value cleanliness

and therefore aim to improve public health and sanitation. Much of what we learn in the medicinal practice comes from Claudius Galen. He has revived the

teachings of Hippocrates and aided in the project to make Rome cleaner including and safer,

introducing

the Hippocratic Oath, which doctors swear by. In doing so, the level of trust between patient and doctor is increased and maintained. With our expanding empire and growing knowledge in the medical field, we invented many surgical tools to aid us in surgical operations. We also created one of the first dedicated field surgery units, which is made up of specially trained medics. These medics provided better medical care

Like I mentioned before, Romans value cleanliness. We all want to feel like a million tesserae. So, we bathe. Therefore, when we make improvements and new innovations in medicine, they usually make the living conditions cleaner and healthier. specialists to oversee sanitation in military camps because lets face it: bathing isnt the most important thing on a soldiers mind. Battlefield surgery is an old practice, but with new improvements, it is better than ever. Doctors now make sure to drown their instruments in hot water before using it on a patient. By going through this process, we can make sure that the tools are clean and bacteria-free. This decreases the spread of disease and infection, which in turn keeps the number of fatalities to a minimum.

satisfy our love for bathing, aqueducts can be found all over Rome. These aqueducts provide water and plumbing for our city, as well as aiding in the promotion of public health and sanitation. The measures that we take to prevent the spread of disease do not stop within the city walls. The specialized workers who regulate sanitation in military camps work extremely hard to save the lives of those who are fighting for us.

Disease spread is not something that a citizen here thinks about every minute of every day. Of course, we have much more to work on. Roman medicine is a major influence in the medical world and with all the blood, sweat, and tears that go in, we totally deserve it.
