Current Job Profile For GSM 2G Network: The responsibilities to achieve the KPIs such as controlling TCH/SDCCH Drops, TCH/SDCCH Blockings, Congestions, High Utilization of cells etc by performing below activities:--

Analysis of drops (TCH & SDCCH) on daily basis and resolving the problem of the cells having high drops by changing in frequency, changing of any H/W like TRXs and addition/Removal of Neighbor List. Analysis of TCH and SDCCH Blockings on daily basis and implementing the resolutions by addition of TRXs, replacing faulty TRXs, Expansion recommendations or addition of new sites etc. Checking the parameters and definitions for the improvement of Hand-Over Performance rate. Checking the Network Design, Planning and Optimization. Performing the fine tuning using MCOM. Optimize system performance based on field test data and translation reports. Recommend parameter and system changes to meet system performance objectives.

Capacity planning of the network on the basis of traffic growth trends and marketing predictions. Planning and integration of new cell sites in the Network, by taking the Coverage and Capacity aspect into account. Daily task involved recognizing, analyzing and solving the top offenders in the BSC on the basis of daily performance reports from OMC. Traffic Analysis & Performance Management of existing network using various key performance indicators. BSC Dump Process and verify the frequency planning such as BCCH, BSIC, TCH, MAIO, HSN. Planning and design of BCCH, BSIC, MAIO, HSN etc. Drive Test and Conducting Coverage AT (Acceptance Test) with concern customers. Process log files/data collected during drive test and analyzing them to fine tuning. Post process of log files and Making coverage plots and submission to the customer. Drive tests around the coverage area to assess, debug and optimize RF system. Conducting RF audits of GSM network sites. Analyze the coverage/quality plots (depicting different parameters; C/I, C/A, Rx Quality, Speech Quality, FER, etc.) and suggest changes like antenna tilt, orientation, search window size, neighbor list tuning etc for optimizing the network. Traffic analysis to meet the capacity requirements. Creating excel sheets and charts, making Presentations etc.
