Materials: Laminated Frames, Poster Putty, laminated story quotes, highlighters, reading passages, SmartBoard Slides Procedures: Take attendance Do Now Activity: Watch video of Boundin (video short available in extra DVD that comes with The Incredibles) o Ask student to put images from film in correct order using SmartBoard o Note: Not every scene is included; Why did I choose these? o Would the story make sense if it was in a different order? o (Replace images in slot 3 & 5) What story is being told now? Teacher will read story How Bear Lost His Tail o Ask student to listen to story 1st o Distribute Passage; 2nd reading students highlight most important actions o Provide students with laminated frame, quotes, & poster putty; ask students to put phrases in order Note: Not exact quotes from story! o Pull up SmartBoard with phrases call up students to put them in correct order Did you highlight these passages in the story?
