This paper examines customer satisfaction models for assessing the relationship of overall satisfaction with a product or service and satisfaction with specific aspects of the product or service for organizations having multiple units or subunits. These units could be stores, markets, dealers, divisions, etc. We suggest a methodology for studying whether the drivers of overall satisfaction vary across such units. For cases where the drivers do vary across subunits, we show how additional variables can be included in a model to account for the variation. Penn Kimballs study He is a professor of journalism at Columbia University. He surveyed 164 New Yorkers who regularly read a newspaper to measure the customers satisfaction among newspaper. He asked 10 qualitative survey questions from each customer. His contemporary study have found the newspaper to be such a powerful component of media dependency theory that terms such as habit and ritual have been used to describe people's reliance. Research Methodology Research Design: - Research design constitutes the blue print for the collection, measurement and analysis of data. The research project on A study of satisfaction level of consumers toward Dainik Bhaskar(with special reference to Amritsar region) is a descriptive study. Sources of data:- Data collection begins after a research problem has been defined. For collection of data there are two types of methods of data collection. Data is collected from primary sources and also from secondary sources. Following are the methods of sources of data: Primary data:- The primary data are data which are being collected by the researcher for the specific purpose of answering the problem on hand. In this study ,questionnaire was used to collect primary data from respondents. Secondary data:- The secondary data is being obtained by the literature study and the articles from the internet. Sampling Technique : - For this project on A study of satisfaction level of consumers toward Dainik Bhaskar(with special reference to Amritsar region) convenient sampling technique have been used. Sampling size :- In order to conduct the survey , I have chosen a sample of 100 respondents. The respondents chosen for this survey includes Servicemen, Businessmen, Retired persons, Housewives, students etc. Sampling unit: It defines the target population that will be sampled i.e. it answers who is to be surveyed. In this study, the sampling unit is the people of Amritsar.
