EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Marineland Canada, Cashier/Clerk Niagara Falls, On (Summer job) Responsible for large sums of money retrieving and returning to and from the cash office. I was required to count, tally, and do a deposit each night which was sent up to the cash office along with the float for the following day. As I worked at a large and popular tourist attraction my ability to speak French was certainly useful on many occasions. As a cashier I was expected to quickly and courteously move people through my cash line. My duties also included light cleaning and stocking shelves when there was not a surplus of people in the gift shops which I rotated through. As a clerk and cashier at Bentley Leathers I was required to open and close the store on my own as well as handle large sums of money and shipments of product from the stock warehouse. In order to open the store in the morning I was responsible of arranging sale tables and luggage and signing the shipment manifest. At night I pulled in sale tables and bunks as well as all of the luggage which had been displayed outside of the store. At closing the nightly deposit is also counted, the following days float prepared and the, receipt manifest and any other paperwork completed before dropping the deposit off in the deposit box of the nearby bank. Developed excellent communication with customers, co-workers, and management.

ACTIVITIES - [Volunteer], Harriet Tubman B.M.E. Church, St.Catharines, On September 2007-August 2011 In order to complete my volunteer service hours in high school I regularly volunteered at the various events that the B.M.E. church St. Catharines held including; cooking and bussing for the concessions stand at the Grape and Wine Festival and various dinners (Harriet Tubman, Christmas, Thanksgiving) that the church put on throughout the year, giving guided tours of the church which is a national historical site during Doors Open, Handling the cash box during tours and fundraising events, light housekeeping such as vacuuming, sweeping and mopping hallways and the chapel prior to events. As a floater I was required to collect donations during warm-ups and walk-abouts before the races and walks began. As the races left the start I was assigned to which ever jobs needed extra hands. May / 2009 - May / 2009 Take participants coats, sweaters, and jackets and hang them on numbered hooks. Ensure to hand participants the corresponding ticket so they can retrieve their jackets later.
