Everyone just wanted to get to Heaven so they did what they were told to be good people. Also people would have to give 1/10 of their salary to the Church. They needed to hold more people as the population expanded.

A pilgrimage is where people move to another place to start a civilization, Geoffrey Chaucer wrote Canterbury Tales and it is about people of different social classes going on a pilgrimage.

Baptism- The Church's way of enacting the embrace of God. Eucharist- Communion is where we receive Christ's body and blood. Reconciliation- Conversion, confession, and celebration, where God forgives us and we forgive others. Confirmation- Sacrament of mature Christian commitment. Marriage- A person gives them self to someone to love. Holy Orders- The Priest provided means of Holiness. Anointing the Sick- Always help the sick.
