Mon inscriptions from Northeastern Thailand (Isan)

Mon inscriptions that has been found in Northeastern Thailand are in two form sm stone and baked clay from 6 8
centuries A.D. Most of them are damaged. Some sm
stones are illustrated with jtaka. Some illustrations and
fine carvings of the sculptures are very similar to the
boundary stone pillars of Kalayani-sm ordinatioin hall at
Thaton in Burma.
