This three lines Mon inscription from A.D. 6th century are engraved on the stone wall
at the entrance hall of Narai Cave, Saraburi, Near Lopburi, Thailand. Inside the cave
is a big old Mon Buddha statue. Because of lime in the water the statue is nearly
covered.
The inscription can be translated to English:
(1) The Governor of Anurdhapura crossed with his wife singing,
(2) dancing together with all the people of the city. After chanting
(3) together God bless our victorious lord! all entered into this (cave).
