WRITTEN EXPRESSION

Planning and Organization

- Identify the writing objective as descriptive, persuasive, narrative, etc.

- Apply diverse techniques used to organize ideas, such as: brainstorming, outlining, forming charts, etc. - Use reliable source when researching form information to be used. - Use creativity to come up with original ideas.

Writing - Develop a topic sentences, use supporting details, and end with a relevant conclusion. - Maintain the writing objective throughout the essay: persuasive, descriptive, narrative, etc.. - Organize ideas into paragraphs. - Express ideas coherently and with fluency. - Use correct transitional words to move from one idea to the next. - Recognize different parts of speech. - Use grammatical structures and verb tenses correctly. - Use punctuation marks and capitalization of letters correctly. - Use varied and pertinent vocabulary. Editing - Evaluating - Maintain a strong connection between the main idea and secondary ideas. - Check for correct spelling, correct use of capitalization, and correct use of punctuation. - Use neat and legible cursive handwriting. - Respect margins on the paper. - Turn in clean work.

ORAL EXPRESSION

Fluency - Pronounce words adequately. - Use correct tone of voice and gestures to express different messages. - Use elaborate affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences to express ideas. - Participate in classroom conversations, dialogues, and role-playing exercises. - Express coherent ideas and opinions spontaneously. Coherency and clearness of messages - Identify the purpose of the message: descriptive, persuasive, narrative, etc.. - Use varied and pertinent vocabulary. - Use pertinent gestures and body language to communicate messages.

Criterios de Evaluacin Secundaria

1.- Expresin y comprensin oral.(Peso 20%) Comprende: - Fluidez: pronunciacin, coherencia, entonacin. - Precisin: vocabulario, gramtica, estructura. - Presentacin: organizacin, creatividad. - Mensaje: contenido y propiedad. 2.- Expresin escrita (Writing, Grammar & Vocabulary) (Peso 30%) Comprende: - Reconocer y aplicar los elementos constituyentes de un enunciado. (parts of speech) - Aplicar estructuras gramaticales en contexto. - Ortografa, estructura, coherencia, cohesin. - Estilo, mensaje. 3.-Comprensin lectora y comprensin auditiva (Reading/Listening) (Peso 30%) Comprende: - Comprensin de idea principal. - Comprensin de ideas secundarias. - Contrastar, comparar, inferir, anticipar, analizar y llegar a conclusiones. - Leer, escuchar y entender el contexto. 4.- Actitud frente al rea: (20%) Cumplimiento(6 ptos) - Cumple con sus tareas de casa puntualmente y en forma completa. - Trae todos sus materiales a clase. - Presenta el cuaderno o flder con orden, puntualidad, y con contenidos completos. - Llega a clase con puntualidad. Devuelve puntualmente los exmenes, libros. - Asiste a clase de Ed. Fsica con el uniforme completo.

Colaboracin(6 ptos) - Levanta la mano antes de hablar. - Espera a que le den el uso de la palabra. - Escucha explicaciones e indicaciones con atencin. - Permanece en silencio cuando alguien participa. - Puede reproducir lo dicho por otra persona y/o responder cuando se le solicita.

- Formula preguntas o comentarios pertinentes al contexto. - Utiliza vocabulario y lenguaje gestual pertinentes para expresarse.
Trabajo en Clase (6 ptos) - Se integra con facilidad a diversos equipos de trabajo - Acoge a sus compaeras para el trabajo en equipo con actitud positiva y tolerante. - Propone asertivamente soluciones a problemas de interaccin. - Sigue indicaciones de manera ordenada. - Realiza sus trabajos en forma organizada: distribucin del tiempo, espacio, material, contenidos. - Propone soluciones y sugerencias para organizar el trabajo en clase. - Es justa y honesta en las autoevaluaciones y coevaluaciones.
