Feed ingredient Amino acid, lactic acid, total sugar, carbohydrate May cause irritation and may injure eye tissue if not removed promptly. This product contains lactic acid. Lactic acid can be irritating to mouth, throat and stomach. Lactic acid may cause gastric tract disorder, upset and/or damage. No hazards anticipated from ingestion incidental to industrial exposure. Vapors may be irritating to respiratory system and nasal passages. Avoid unnecessary exposure. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation. Wash with old water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. This product contains lactic acid. Repeated or prolonged exposure to lactic acid may lead to dental erosion, jaw necrosis, bronchial irritation or bronchial pneumonia and may cause conjunctivitis

Lactic acid Lactic acid is irritating to mouth, throat and stomach. Lactic acid may cause gastric tract disorder and/or damage. Lactic acid is severely irritating and may cause permanent skin damage; 500 mg/kg rabbit. Lactic acid may cause sore throat, coughing, labored breathing, fatigue, pharyngitis, respiratory irritation and pulmonary edema. Lactic acid is severely irritating and may cause permanent damage if not removed. This material is not shown to be carcinogenic by the National Toxicology Program (NTP), International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) or the Occupations Safety and Administration (OSHA).
