Students mostly have problem with rickshaw walas. Girls don't like the middle mirror because they want some privacy. Old citizens and housewife don't have much problem with the rickshaw system. (Very comfortable with it). 95% of the users want the meter system to be refined or renewed.(Digital meter system) Users feel very uncomfortable with the driving of the rickshaw walas (because of the handle) .

Auto Rickshaw users point of view

We always have to travel by auto rickshaws in Pune as we don't have our own conveyance due to the fact that we are not from Pune. Auto Rickshaw drivers in Pune take advantage of this thing and charge us a lot more than the meter rate. We argue with them to go as meter says but since they know that we don't have any other choice so they demand a fixed amount that is generally much higher than what comes up if we go by meter. They are very troublesome. Sometimes they even use abusive language. Every outsider in Pune faces this problem because generally they don't have their own conveyance. -A foreign male student in Pune.

I don't travel in rickshaws much. I have my own transportation and our company also provides us to go back and fourth from home to office. To be honest with you I find our Office transportation system working fine and safe. Yes, we do have to walk a bit to reach our pick up point for our office bus. -A male employee, working in a software company.

I use u own a car, now I am too old and can't see properly to ride it by my shelf. I can't afford a Driver either. So, I have a good understanding with the local rickshawala, every time I have to go some ware I give him a call. Then he takes me to my destination. A retired banker.

I am very much uses to traveling in rickshaws, I often use it while shopping with my friends. My only worry is the way these people drive and talk to us. -A house wife. I know the rickshaw driver and also where he lives and also have his contact number as well. My concern is that they don't have proper settings cause they take around 13 children in the same rickshaw. school kids parents.

3G Transportation: Company owns or rents the cabs used for transportation of its employees ,does not give any contract to a travel agency. Method: Company lets know its employees the car number in which they will travel, the drivers name and his mobile number through SMS. The timing of the cars according to their numbers is written on the board and also notified to its employees through SMS.

Mphasis Transportation: Company, gives contract to a travel agency for transportation of its employees. Method: Company lets know the driver sent by the travel agency the numbers of its employees. The drivers than decide amongst themselves who will take which rout, than the drivers call the employees and tell them their name, mobile number, and car number.

prepaid card / pass
The Prepaid card system is issued by the private company at their outlets. Prepaid Card works when the user is a regular commuter. He swipes the card in the device installed in the auto and the money is debited from his card automatically. The user gets a receipt.

cash credit cards /debit cards

This is a direct payment mode to the auto driver. The user gets a receipt.

This system works the same as when a person uses these cards while shopping. For the payment of the auto, these cards are swiped in the device installed in the auto. The user gets a receipt.
