Course Description This course deals with properties of fluids; fluid static, hydrokinetics and hydrodynamics; ideal fluid flow for past external and internal boundaries; flow similitude.

Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to do the following: 1. Know the fundamental principles relating to fluids at rest or in motion they apply the engineering practice. 2. Understand the variation of hydrostatic pressure in a comprehensible fluid flow through the gates and dams. 3. Familiarize with the fluid mechanics and hydraulics equipment used in laboratory.
