UPS Maintenance Bypass Switches Single and Three Phase 63-400A

Power Protection Systems
Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) require regular preventative maintenance to guarantee their operational performance. Installing a Thamesgate Maintenance Bypass Switch allows a UPS to be isolated for maintenance, testing, upgrade or swap out - without disruption to connected loads. Thamesgate maintenance bypasses are CE marked and manufactured in the UK. The range runs from 63A single phase to 400A three phase. A range of options allows them to be customised to meet specific site and system requirements. Thamesgate bypasses are simple to install, with easy termination access and resilient switch operation (interlocked). The switch mechanism (make-before-break) ensures the bypass system does not present the load with a break in supply when transferring to or from UPS output to mains power or an alternative source of AC power.

Renewables and Smart Grids

Our standard maintenance bypass range is designed for use with single and three-phase uninterruptible power supplies. Versions are available for use within renewable applications including solar and wind power, and for use within smart-grid systems. Thamesgate also supply static switches featuring both automatic and manual transfer, metering and smart communications capabilities.
