Project Details
The Book Track is an online application. This project is aimed at facilitating the plants to enter order and shipping data that will be stored in a database by proving the User Interface to key in Order data and Shipping data with data validation. This data will be used, in the future, to populate the Book Portal. This facilitates the customer to access information from anywhere as the application allows the registered users to track the record of their orders being placed. It is easily accessible through most Internet browsers. The application can be extendable to provide any king of report from the data being extracted and stored from the online user screen. The project was basically divided in to 3 components as: Provide Database for Order, Status Reporting and Shipping Data. Provide User Interface to key in Order data and Shipping data with data validation and pull down lists where available. Provide a mechanism to transfer data from the database to the web portal once a day

Project Details
This system takes care of Booking, Billing, Payments, Project Status Tracking, Reporting and milestones for a chip manufacturing company. This company has offices at US (VIPG) and another in Chennai (QCL). US Company (VIPG) gets orders form different customers. Some of the orders acquired by VIPG will be delegated to QCL for production. QCL would also be getting orders from customers outside. The users of this system should be able to do billing and payment from the customer. One more facility that will be provided in this system is Business Forecast. Automatic mailing facility is also provided for certain conditions .

Web surfers can now order goods from a rapidly growing umber of online stores. The objective of this project is to create an online store i.e. developing a site that can be used to sell its products through the internet. This site is quite generic and simple.
