Meaning Corrosive
Description Chemical cause burns if it comes into contact with the skin. Can easily catch fire.
Could cause harm if the chemical comes into contact with skin, if ingested or if vapors are breathed in. Will cause harm to living organisms if released into the environment. Damages skin or eyes if they come into contact with the chemical. Chemical could cause an explosion.

Chemical can cause cancer if it comes into contact with the body or is ingested.
Dangerously reactive
React violently under conditions of shock or an increase in pressure or temperature and also with water to release a toxic gas.
Cause disease or are believed to cause disease in either humans or animals. For example, a blood sample containing the Hepatitis B virus is a biohazardous infectious material.

Poisonous Gas. Used for transport of a poisonous gas - on gas cylinders, or sometimes as an indicator on vehicles.

Oxidizing chemical! Materials that spontaneously evolve oxygen at room temperature or with slight heating and promote combustion. To be kept away from flammable chemicals at all costs. Marine pollutant - do not dispose of in sewer system.
