Last Tuesday evening an audience of 400 people was treated to an evening of wonderful music. We were not only able to hear but also see his skills as he played our historic Fincham & Hobday Organ. Retreat for Parishioners: Commences this afternoon (Sunday at 2.00pm) and continues to Saturday, 4th May. We warmly welcome Fr Hoa Ding sj as our facilitator. We also welcome Fr Thu sj who will be in residence during this time. We will remember in prayer the 25 retreatants during this time. St Josephs Fair: Sunday 28th April: Do you have jars, used or unwanted books, DVDs etc, pre loved accessories (handbags, hats etc) hand knitted items? The plant stall would greatly appreciate any donations of potted plants, herbs bulbs etc. Please drop off at school by 26th April. Contact Jane (0488 626 464) Ozchild: Integration Aide Course 20th to 31st May. This course provides the introductory skills, knowledge and understanding for learners to support qualified teachers or child care staff where there are children with identified learning difficulties and disabilities. There is no charge. See handouts and notice in Gathering Space for more information. Environment Audit: Gods creation is one and it is good. The concerns for nonviolence, sustainable development, justice and peace, and care for the environment are of vital importance for humanity, (Pope Benedict XV1 World Youth Day address 2008). St Josephs Parish is undertaking an Environmental Audit and ideas are welcomed from parishioners as to how the parish can be more sustainable. Please write your ideas and leave at the Parish Office. Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra: Annual Mothers Day Concert (May 12th 2.30pm) at St Josephs Church, will feature a great variety of lively and enjoyable pieces, including instrumental & vocal solos & duets.
