5. ROUTINE TESTS
5.1. Insulation resistance (item 1.5) For this test should be used a Mega-Ohmmeter of at least 1000 V. Shorting to the terminals of each winding of the transformer under test (H1 H2 H3 and X1 X2 X3) is due to make the following measurements: a) High voltage and low voltage against earth; b) Low voltage from high voltage and earth; c) High voltage low voltage. The values found and the temperature of the test shall be recorded in the Report. 5.2. Electrical resistance of the windings (item 1.6) The measurement is performed by the method of the Wheatstone bridge where the winding resistance is less than 1 OHM, it is higher, the measurement of electrical windings is performed by the method voltmeter, ammeter. Measurements made: H1-H2 / H1-H3 / H2-H3 - X1-X2 / X1-X3 / X2-X3 You must record the temperature of the winding. 5.3. Value transformation (item 1.7) For this test, we use a specially built equipment, which incorporates a variable ratio transformer and an indicator of stress. The range of equipment (TTR) indicates the stress ratio when the voltage indicator indicates zero deflection. Measurements made: H1H3 - X1X0 / H2H1 - X2X0 / H3H2 - X3X0 - for transformer connection with Yo with DYn1. Using this device, there is also the polarity and the angular displacement. Note: The first letters of each sequence are the polarities 5.4. Short-circuit impedance and Load losses (item 1.8) To perform this test, it connects one of the windings of the transformer short-circuit (preferably the low voltage). Then applied to the other winding, a voltage at rated frequency and amount sufficient to circulate rated current. This is the transformer short-circuit of winding. The drivers used for short-circuit the transformer section shall be equal to or superior to their terminals and short as possible. Measurements should be performed as soon as possible, so no elevations in temperature of the windings, with consequent errors in reading. It is the simultaneous readings of current, voltage and power absorbed by the transformer short circuit. You must record the temperature of the winding during the test.

5.5. No-load loss and excitation current (item 1.9) The no-load losses and excitation current are measured with voltage transformer, fed, preferably by low voltage, voltage and rated frequency. Simultaneously, it is the reading of power and average current, using a Wattmeter, Ammeter and Voltmeter of effective values respectively. It is also the reading of the voltmeter average. 5.6. Applied voltage (item 1.10) All external terminals of the winding under test shall be connected to the terminal of the test. All other external terminals of other windings, core and tank must be earthed. 5.7. Voltage induced (item 1.11) Should be applied to the terminals of the transformer windings, double the rated voltage for 7200 cycles with minimum frequency of 120 Hz and up to 480 Hz. 5.8. Partial Discharges (item 1.12) 5.8.1. The measurement of PD should be performed after the execution of all tests dielectrics. 5.8.2. The low voltage winding must be excited by a source or single-phase. 5.8.3. The voltage should be as sinusoidal as possible and frequency should be increased appropriately, on the face, to avoid excessive excitation current during the test. 5.8.4. For testing three-phase Transformers Windings for connection to systems solidly grounded or low impedance. Must be induced initially with phase to ground voltage equal to (excitation voltage): Where: A = maximum voltage winding for 10 seconds. Then, without interruption, decreases the voltage phase to ground equal to (voltage reading): For 3 minutes, during which it shall be measured the level of PD. 5.8.5. Windings for connection to the isolated or grounded through a high impedance, eg a reactor suspension arc. Should be induced initially a two-phase equal to 1.5 A for 30 sec. With a line terminal grounded. Then, without interruption, for phase-phase voltage equal to al, Lum for 3 min. they are to be measured the level of P.D. This test should be repeated with another line terminal grounded. 5.9. Test of Noise Level (Item 1.13) The test of noise level should not exceed the limits specified in the Standards IEC 60076-10. For the test to measure the level of ambient noise and immediately after you must put the voltage in the windings of the transformer empty. Always maintaining a distance of 1m., is performed to measure the noise level of the processor and keeping the device perpendicular to the face where you want the reading achievement of dB. 6. TYPE TESTS
6.1. Lighting Impulse Test: Full Wave (item 2.1) In conformity with IEC 60076-11 Par.21 and IEC 60076-3 Par.13. 6.2. High Temperature of Windings (item 2.2) This test is to obtain the temperature of the windings on the temperature of the external cooling, referred to the voltage, current and rated frequency. Should be made for all the windings available. The test is performed by the method of excitation and load independent losses in order to obtain the temperature rises of the windings in two independent tests, one with application of load losses and another with the no-load losses. Identical procedures - items 5.5. and 5.4., respectively, until reaching the stabilization of the temperature of the transformer coils (indicated by thermal sensors installed for the test). After stabilizing the temperature, the transformer is switched off and is immediately performed to measure the ohmic resistance of the windings, according to item 5.2, noting the resistance value and time of each measurement (using as reference the time when the transformer was off).

7. TYPE TESTS
7.1. Measurement of the harmonics on the no-load current (item 3.1) In conformity with IEC 60076-1.
