Maintenance Tasks
The problems existing during installation: 1, Prompt problem due to poor installation or setting mistakes This problem will find out immediately and fix after installation. For instance: IF cable opening, circuit shorting; wrong CH setting 2, Potential problems due to poor installation or setting mistakes This problem remains on your system and not easy be find out. For instance: poor antenna fix, poor grounding system; wrong E1 impedance setting.
Most of installation and manufacture problems will happen within one annual year operation. After that system goes into normal operation period.

Two Maintenance Tasks in ordinary work 1. Routine Maintenance:
Through routine activity to avoid links problems happen.

2. Troubleshooting:
When problem has happen, or equipment fault, Fix problem, Recover links service.

Meter reading Reading the RSL metering test result and check the link status. Link performance monitoring Check the link performance, 15min and 1 day history monitoring data record can help to analysis the link performance.

1. The normal status is in PNMSJ& PNMTJ system is all the board is green. 2. The correlation block of the structure figure of main window will change green into red when the equipment occur fault. So you need log in PNMTJ to check Alarm:

Troubleshooting Procedure
On NMS center: 1, 2, 3, 4, Service quality down Check networks through NMS system Problem location: MW or BTS? For MW problem collect information remotely with help of your local maint. staffs. 5, Solve problem by your local staffs, or dispatch expert to site with suitable spares. On site: 1, 2, 3, 4, Check by PNMT, or LCT Adjust antenna for antenna moving Check IF cable, DC connector for poor installation Replace IDU, ODU for hardware problem.

Important points for Unit replace-1
1, Prepare correct type of equipment 2, Turn off DC power before replace IDU and ODU 3, Check ODU: Tx high always working with Tx low 4, 7G,8G Paso+ ODU is point freq. unit. Its freq. has to setting same with printed freq. on ODU 5, Normal DC supply Paso+: 40 60V; Paso is 20-70V

6, IDU ID setting should same on both side of one link 7, DEM maybe setting to ON for 7, 8G ODU 8, Check IF cable impedance: about 100M OHM for open, about 10K OHM with ODU. 9, Mark damage equipment, send it to NEC on time. 10,Check installation situation for frequent equipment damage on same site.
