The Idea of Brotherhood

Nowadays, the contemporary Christians ask what Christianity is, what kind of religion it is? And they are telling that Christianity is this, or that. No, no, God is Love, which has to join people to live into Love, and Peace and Brotherhood. Whether they are kings or rulers and what their status is, these are things of secondary importance. All people should live in Love, brotherly, they should have mutual respect. That noble feeling of Brotherhood should penetrate whithin us, so when we meet a woman or a man, we should see in their face our sister or brother. If you are able to cultivate this feeling of Brotherhood, you will place the mankind on a new footing. And then, there wont be misunderstanding among us, and there will be a genuine striving.

When people acquire the Love of God, they will realize the humanity is their father, and they are children of that father. Then unity, brotherhood and equality will come between nations. I exclude the words equal, equality from the Divine vocabulary. If you put this word among people, the devil will visit them immediately. The word brotherhood is in the right place, but equality is a distorted word. The brotherhood rests on Love. What kind of love do you speak about: human or Divine? Remember: Love is one and indivisible. It is a great idea, a great impulse. Everything is hidden within that love; brotherhood, and freedom, and knowledge, and wisdom, and culture, and civilization. In the presence of Gods Love everything succumbs.

Any unrestricted religiousness that will develop in the future among mankind, will be grounded on the fact that every single person recognizes the image of God within oneself, in a real way in the actual life, but not only in theory. t that time, the religi ous compulsion will not exist, it wont be necessary for any religious coercion to be in existence.

You should say: We are preparing to be disciples, to enter into that Universal White Brotherhood. Christ is a Head to the Brotherhood and we wont yield e ven a step in our aspiration, we wont renounce the principles of Love, Wisdom and Truth. This is the only way to become members of the Brotherhood. Once we have become its members, we will begin the real life. Some other time I will have a word on the White Brotherhood, there is much to talk about it, you have to acquaint yourself with the laws of that Divine science. I will initiate you bit by bit, not all of a sudden. If you were ready, we would introduce you among these White Brothers, to see them, but they do not let in everyone. Do you understand?

The Brotherhood and the New Teaching isnt a privilege of any organization or any closed form. It is neither a church nor a sect. It is neither a revolutionary science doctrine nor a new philosophical system, although it has an influence over all spheres of the human activity. It is in that imperceptible thing, which imbues our hearts and mind, and fills our souls, and helps us to become aware how deeply we are connected, how great and real Love is. Many sensitive souls and advanced minds, any good people and great creators grasp that invisible influence, that Divine Word, and no matter whether they realize it or not, it weaves into their work and creation. The Divine fills the whole universe and

manifests incessantly. It is in each of us, in each great idea and striving for the beautiful and the eternal5.
