for filling the form

USE CAPITAL LETTERS TO FILL THE FORM (LIKE THIS LINE)

In Part A, in Section 'Name' fill the name of the applicant Below that tick any of the options 'Mother' or 'Father' or 'Husband' or 'Guardian' option. Write their name. For children below 5 years the name of the Father/Mother/Guardian is must.

Write Date of birth of applicant in format Day/Month/Year. If the date of birth is not known, write approximate age in years.

Tick the applicant's gender. Write complete address of the applicant, where he/she is currently living. In Part B, Additional information can be given, like phone/mobile number, email address. These are optional.

In Part C, Financial information can be given to open a new Adhara enabled bank account or link your existing bank account to Adhara number. This option is very useful, as in future the government intends to use Adhara number for subsidies and other government schemes. Thus opening a Adhara enabled bank account or linking your existing bank account to aadhaar would be very useful.

If you are linking your existing bank account number, write the complete account number (not the short one that is sometimes written on your passbook especially national banks).

Write clearly, avoid cuttings. Once again check the spellings especially of the names.

Apply for Aadhaar Card

First of all we must know that there is no online registration of Aadhaar Card like we have for passport, to get an Aadhaar or apply for Aadhaar, you need to visit the authorized Aadhaar enrolment centre nearby you with some certain documents of your identity and address proof (stated below). However, you can go to any enrollment camp authorized by UIDAI anywhere in India. The complete procedure is illustrated in the following points: 1. Take your documents of address and identity proof (original or photocopies attested by a gazetted officer) along with Aadhaar enrolment form and go to any nearby authorized Aadhaar enrollment center or you can go to any of the enrollment camp authorized by UIDAI anywhere in India. 2. At the enrollment center, there will be a document verification process done by the officials over there. 3. The operator will insert your details and will ask you to validate the data entry. 4. You will then be asked to undergo through a process of fingerprint and iris scanning. 5. After that your photograph will be taken. 6. The operator or enroller will then sign off with his fingerprint. 7. You will then receive a printed acknowledgement slip with an enrolment number and other details. This finishes your job as part of getting your Aadhaar number. Your details will then be verified and after verification, a unique Aadhaar number only for you will be generated which will be dispatched to your address. After 60 to 90 days you will receive your Aadhaar number, however, this time may be longer depending upon the internal processing of the authority. Citizens who have enrolled for Aadhaar need not wait too long for their cards to be delivered by post. Instead, they can go online and download the cards from eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in by entering their enrollment number.

The Aadhaar will become the single source of identity verification. Once residents enrol, they can use the number multiple times they would be spared the hassle of repeatedly providing supporting identity documents each time they wish to access services such as obtaining a bank account, passport, driving license, andso on. By providing a clear proof of identity, the Aadhaar will also facilitate entry for poor and underprivileged residents into the formal banking system, and the opportunity to avail services provided by the government and the private sector. The Aadhaar will also give migrants mobility of identity. It will also provide governments with accurate data on residents, enable direct benefit programs, and allow government departments to coordinate investments and share information.
