Assisted Living Home
The project was to design an assisting living home for elderly/mentally or physically handicapped. The design was focused around the idea of enclosure. To separate the building from the noisy streets of Tokyo, while still creating an openness and feeling of connection throughout the building. The assisted living home includes: studio apartments, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, exercise rooms, a library, dining halls, a rooftop terrace, and multiple outdoor gardens and seating areas for relaxation.
