Printer sharing made easy.
All Apple ink-jet printers can be directly connect-
ed to an EtherTalk® network using the optional
StyleWriter® EtherTalk Adapter, which attaches
easily to the serial port on the printer. And the
Color StyleWriter 2500 can also be directly con-
nected to a LocalTalk® network via the optional
LocalTalk Module. The rest of Apple’s LaserWriter®
printers offer a variety of networking support,
with many of them able to function on networks
that include not only Macintosh® computers, but
also PCs running Windows software.

For example, you can add a fax card to some
network LaserWriter printers to enable them to
send and receive high-quality plain-paper faxes—
