MARCH 2009 Programmer for an online payment processing company. Composed an extensive
requirements specification and a complete design description for a large software
project. Programmed payment plugins for e-commerce systems like PrestaShop and
Magento. Was involved with solving various system administration tasks.

NOVEMBER 2007 – National Library of Latvia (http://lnb.lv/)


JUNE 2008 Programmer responsible for integrating and maintaining the Plone-based website of the
largest library in Latvia. Localized the Plone CMS, educated self in Zope application server
integration and migrated the website between major versions of Plone and Zope.

MARCH 2006 – Draugiem (http://draugiem.lv/)


OCTOBER 2006 Programmer at a major social networking website. Main responsibilities involved
information architecture, web design and front-end development. Successfuly helped
design and build various parts of the website still in use today and actively generated
fresh ideas and applications.

AUGUST 2005 – Mediaparks (http://mediaparks.lv/)


JANUARY 2006 Technical designer at a leading web development company. Activities included drawing
website layout mockups and animated banners, specifying client requirements and hand-
coding complex website demos.

PERSONAL PROJECTS  Designed a popular theme (http://untu.ms/mirage/) for the Opera web browser,
downloaded almost 700 000 times individually and millions of times counting
derivative versions.
 Developed Firefox extensions used by hundreds of people, most
