Core Dialogue/Target Language: CLASS: Mattahayom 1/1-1/11 Materials: Pictures showing different activities such as doing homework, etc. Whiteboard marker, worksheets.

Vocabulary Expansion:

Doing homework, watching TV, cleaning, making dinner, reading, listening to a CD, Heather: What are you doing? doing the laundry, talking on the phone, going out, having a snack. Xiyu: Im watching TV. Heather: Whats Joan doing? Xiyu: Shes doing the laundry. Procedure/Activities: Basic/Average Class Advance Class

Lesson Proper

Warm-up activities. Ask the students what activity they like the most. Show the pictures to test if they remember the vocabularies. Show the sample dialogue. Read the dialogue with the students. Divide the class into two groups. The first group will do part A and the second one will do part B. For mastery of the conversation, have them role play the dialogue by pairs. For follow-up activity, let them answer the worksheets provided by the teacher. Check the students work. Record their scores.
