Ellipse Software Development Pvt. Ltd. is a software development company established in 2006. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra which is considered to be one of the emerging IT hubs in western India. We are a consulting and software development firm dedicated to achieve success through our longterm relationships with business clients and staff members. Our client relationships are based on delivering the highest quality professional technology consulting and development services. We focus to make the technology work for our clients. We deliver custom solutions from e-commerce web sites to enterprise systems to interactive media with service, integrity, and accountability.

What we deliver
We analyze customers business needs and deliver custom solutions for them. We cater to the needs of multitude of clients from different segments of the industry/domain such as Banking, Education, Entertainment, FMCG, Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Social Networking and Transportation. We develop desktop to internet applications. Some of our custom developed solutions include ecommerce portals with online payment capabilities, corporate intranet sites to manage day to day operations, financial (insurance) portals and desktop applications. We are privileged to be the preferred vendors for various US companies to provide custom solutions catering to the various business areas. During the process we build sound relationships with them based on our excellent work ethics. With our consistency in producing very high quality work products and exceptional communication with our clients, we have positioned ourselves as one of the premier software vendors.

Our Expertise

We offer IT services such as consulting, requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance & project management. Our technology expertise includes .NET 1.1 to 4.0 amongst the technology platforms. We have the programming language skills ranging ASP, VB, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# . We are proficient in use of markup languages such as HTML, JavaScript and standards such as XML, SOA and Web services. We have expertise in use of third party components widely used in .NET solutions such as Teleric, Infragistics grids etc. Amongst databases we have extensive work knowledge of MS Access 2003/2007, SQL Server 2000/2005 and Oracle 9g/10g/11g. In reporting tools we have extensively used Crystal Reports, Microsoft reports (RDLC) and Teleric . Amongst other solution platforms we have trained resources to work on mobile computing such as application development on Android and Apple platforms. We have developed standalone and client server based applications on these platforms.

Project: Florida Bankers Association website: http://www.floridabankers.com Technology: .NET 1.1 Languages: ASP.NET Database: SQL Server 2005 Tools: VS 2003 Description: The Ellipse team developed the FBA website and included a content management module allowing the Florida Bankers Association to manage the website content. The website also has a online purchasing option for the products that FBA offers.

Entertainment Domain
Project: FCT-DCA Parks Community of Florida Technology: .NET 1.1 Languages: ASP.NET Database: SQL server 2000, MS-Access Markup Language: HTML, Cold-fusion, XML Tools: VS 2003 Description: This project had two parts. One of them was building a website containing information of parks under FCT-DCA. The other part was developing a windows application to manage survey information pertaining to different parks under FCT-DCA.

End user can build the form, can view preview and can also publish the content.

FMCG Domain
Project: Export Import Management System (XIM) Technology: .NET 3.5 Languages: ASP.NET, Linq, Jquery Database: SQL Server 2005 Tools: VS 2008 Description: XIM stands for an export import application and is a full-fledged integration solution for the export import process. The system in addition to focusing on Export area also integrates with other functional areas like Carting permissions, Production, Excise, and Govt. Schemes. Its centralized database for all departments helps the management to take the right business decisions with the available data & powerful MIS Reports.

Healthcare Domain
Project: NICA CARES Technology: .NET 2.0 Languages: ASP.NET Database: SQL server 2005 Markup Language: HTML Tools: VS 2005, Crystal Reports, Sage Peachtree Accounting 2007, Infragistics, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Description: This is developed as a multi-tier web application to manage daily operations for NICA, primarily the account management. It also covers areas such as claims and documents for physicians and hospitals. The main challenges were documents upload feature, generating reports and batch upload using SSIS.

Insurance Domain
Project: Florida Surplus Lines Service Office (FSLSO): www.fslso.com Technology: .NET 3.5 Languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET Database: MS-Access 2003/2007, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, Oracle 9i/10g/11g Markup Language: HTML, XML Tools: Interdev, VS 2008, WISE, Telerik, Infragistics, Crystal Reports, ActivePDF Description: Ellipse team developed Regulatory Administration Platform of Insurance Data (RAPID) and Surplus Lines Information Portal (SLIP) to manipulate the insurance data. The team implemented multi-band Infragistics grid with paging and sorting features. We used a third party tool named ActivePDF to generate PDFs. We created installers using WISE installation tools, developed the asynchronous Crystal reports using XML CLOB and Telerik reports. We developed asynchronous Crystal reports using XML CLOB and developed the complex SQL queries (using Inner/outer joins, cross-tab), stored procedures, functions and triggers.

Pharmaceutical Domain
Project: Marketing Management System (MMS) Technology: .NET 2.0 Languages: ASP.NET, Linq, Jquery Database: SQL Server 2005 Tools: VS 2005 Description: MMS application controls marketing activities like enquiry details & their follow-ups, quotation details, amendment in quotation & follow-ups. It generates the enquiry form, sample invoice, sample requisition to factory, quotation print to customer. It has powerful MIS producing reports such as enquiry register, sample register, quotation register, pending enquiry, sample & quotation. It generates historical data pertaining to quantity, rate, and customer for the comparison. It provides email option for enquiry/quotations and maintains separate records for each enquiry & quotation with their follow-ups.

Social Networking Domain

Project: Friends Connect (P2P Chat application) Technology: .NET 3.5 Languages: VB.NET, WPF, XAML Database: SQL Server 2005 Tools: VS 2008 Description: This is a full-fledged point to point chat client, which was developed as one of the product offerings. This windows application supports ODAIMS's daily operations and provides the ability to manage advertising data of Structures, invoices, permits etc.
