From the Desk.

The highlight of the last week was the participation in the biggest morning tea fundraising for the Cancer Council. Another good news is that Men in Green won their final match played on 13th May. As our membership of the facebook page keeps on growing with current number at 955, there have been a couple of instances where inappropriate comments have been regularly made by a couple of members. At the same time there are posts that offer students services like assistance in assignments and visa extensions which is again inappropriate. One easy solution was to moderate every post but it is also not advisable when it is only 2-3 members out of 950+ who indulge themselves in such acts. Therefore in our last meeting we have developed a basic guide to use of social media (specifically facebook) which needs to be followed by every member. The policy is available on page 4 and applies with immediate effect. Finally to the WA Community, enjoy and celebrate the long weekend. Pakistanis in Australia Inc. is an incorporated group to support students and migrants from Pakistan in their settlement and to initiate projects in Australia and Pakistan that promote mutual collaboration between two countries and promote a positive image of Pakistan and Australia
