The Scheme 1. The facility of ATM is available to all individual customers (single or joint SB/CA/OD account holders) of the bank except for Minors and Illiterate Customers. This facility allows the customer to view and take out cash from his accounts from ATM machines or do direct debits through POS terminals at his convenience i.e. anytime. 2. For operating his ATM Card, customer may use Allahabad Bank ATM (Automated Teller machines), or Member Bank ATMs (through affiliation with NFS (National Financial Switch)), or VISA ATMs & POS Terminals (Through affiliation with VISA (VISA International Service Association)). We have 211 ATMs in our own network along with more than 42000 ATMs connected through NFS and VISA. 3. In case of Joint accounts (only with mandate Either / Survivor), the ATM cards may be provided to all account holders. 4. The card is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of issue. Procedure 1. The Customer has to fill and submit the ATM Card application form at his home branch along with his recent photograph. 2. On receipt of application form, the branch has to process the application and perform the following activities : a. Generate a new ATM card request for the customer and mention the accounts (max 8) that can be linked to the card. b. Designated Officer must put his signature along with his signature no. with seal of the branch in the application form. c. Account number & Signature (in Black Ink only) of the customer has to be taken on the Switch back Office Folio. d. Branch should retain a photocopy / Xerox copy of the above application form along with Terms & Conditions for their record purpose and send the original to ATM Back Office for further processing. Branch should also maintain an ATM Card Issue register as per format provided in the ATM Manual. 3. Welcome Kit containing the ATM card is sent to the Customers Address requesting him/her to collect the ATM pin from the home branch. 4. When the customer comes to the branch with his welcome kit, branch will deliver the pin mailer containing the 4 digit ATM pin , to the customer after verifying his identity and obtain his acknowledgement for the same. After this, the Branch should link the ATM card to the customers account. 5. The card sent to the customer is initially inactive. However, it is activated after the customer collects his ATM pin from the branch. Also, the customer is advised to change his ATM pin from an Allahabad Bank ATM at the earliest opportunity. Charges Annual membership of Rs 100/- per card. For each subsequent additional card to other joint account holders membership fee of Rs 100/- per year. Issues of Duplicate cards in case of lost cards: Rs 100/- As an introductory Offer there would be No Annual fee for the first year for cards applied.Also, there are no fees for the Instant ATM cum Debit Card. Presently, there is also no minimum balance criterion.

Transaction Charges All transactions on any Allahabad Bank ATMs and other Banks ATMs under VISA/NFS in India are free of cost for our banks cardholders. Our charges for transactions on other ATMs are as under Other VISA ATMs Cash Withdrawal In India: NIL NFS Member Bank ATMs NIL up to Rs. 10000 per day, 5 times per month, after that, chargeable at the rate of Rs.20 per transaction
Abroad: Rs.140/- per transaction Balance Enquiry In India: NIL per enquiry NIL up to 5 enquiries per month, if no other transaction has been done ,after that, chargeable at the rate of Rs.20 per transaction
No Service charge is levied on POS transactions except for transactions made at petrol pumps, railway reservation counters as per Visa Regulations where service charge levied as per industry standard practices - 2.50% service charge or Rs. 10/- minimum for transactions at petrol pumps.
Cash Withdrawal: Customer can withdraw cash from the linked account/s (subject to balance available in the account) within the limits set by the Bank. Fast Cash Withdrawal: Customer can withdraw cash in a quick transaction.
Transaction limits: From ATMs Minimum Amount per Transaction: Re.100/Maximum Amount per Day: Rs.15,000/From POS terminals -- (POS is point of sale) Maximum Amount per day: Rs25,000/-
Balance Enquiry: Customer can also enquire about the balance available in the accounts linked to his ATM card. Change PIN: Customer can change his 4-digit ATM PIN. Fund Transfer: Customer can from one account (up to Rs. 15000 per day) to another linked to the card. Operate Multiple Accounts: Customer can operate multiple accounts linked to his ATM Card.

Offline Requests: Customer can request for a cheque book or statement of account for the accounts linked to the ATM card. Mini Statement: Customer can view the mini statement of transactions made on his account.
At Other VISA ATMs Cash Withdrawal: Customer can withdraw cash from the linked account/s (subject to balance available in the account) within the limits set by the Bank. Balance Enquiry: Customer can also enquire about the balance available in the accounts linked to his ATM card. At NFS Member Bank ATMs Cash Withdrawal: Customer can withdraw cash from the linked account/s (subject to balance available in the account) within the limits set by the Bank. Balance Enquiry: Customer can also enquire about the balance available in the accounts linked to his ATM card. At VISA Point Of Sales (POS) Direct Debit Payments: Customer can make direct debit payments for purchaes (subject to balance available in the primary account) within the limits set by the Bank.

Loss or Damage of the card:In case of loss or damage of the card, please inform the branch as well on the toll free no 1800-22-0363 immediately so that the card will be blocked, to ensure safety of your funds.
