ARCHMERE ACADEMY DRAMA PRESENTS YOURE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (Claymont, DE) February 11, 2013 Those cartoon favorites, The Peanuts, will come alive on the Archmere Academy stage this February and March, when Archmere Dramatics presents their winter musical, Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown. This lively, family-friendly musical, written by written by Clark M. Gesne and based on the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, captures the lovable loser Charlie Brown and all of his friends. From his sister Sally, his friends Lucy, Linus, Schroeder and of course his unforgettable pet, Snoopy, the characters, who have stayed in their primary education since the 1950's, seem as fresh and relevant as ever. Join us in a night of fun revisiting these characters through memorable songs such as "My Blanket and Me", "Beethoven's Birthday", "Suppertime" and "Happiness. Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown will be showing at Archmere in the Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23, and again on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. Tickets can be purchased at the door, and are $5 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for general admission. -----
