Although the story of Dragon Ball Z mentions that Dr. Gero built only three organic androids, Number 17, Number 18, and Cell, it is possible for him to have built several more. In any event, Organic Androids should be very rare and are designed to be powerful. Although the Organic Androids described below pale in comparison to Numbers 17 & 18 and especially Cell, they should represent what an average Organic Android built by Dr. Gero would look like.

Description
Most androids are built with machines, metal, and computers. Powered by a fantastic artificial intelligence, the androids can be capable of incredible feats of strength, agility, and often intelligence. But one category of android is far harder to create. Referred to as organic androids or biological androids, these creatures are built from parts, just like a normal android, but the materials are organic and are literally grown in a test tube. The technology required to build an organic android far exceeds most races, but the brilliant scientist Dr. Gero spent years secluded in his secret lab devising a means to build them. Already capable of building powerful mechanical androids, Dr. Gero wanted to build an even more powerful android. Terrified and outraged that his earlier creations had been destroyed by Goku, a Saiyan raised on Earth, Dr. Gero spent years building and refining a new line of androids to extract his revenge.

2 The first androids developed by Dr. Gero were mechanical in nature and like all of his creations were given numbers. Numbers 16, 19, and 20 were all part of his new series of mechanical androids, but he was still not satisfied. Dr. Gero spent years planning and observing his enemy Goku and grew two organic androids, numbers 17 and 18, to be faster, stronger, and more powerful then Goku could ever hope to be. As his final act before his death, Dr. Gero programmed his powerful computer to extract cells from all of the greatest warriors on Earth, especially Goku and his son Gohan and the Saiyan prince Vegita, and build a new organic android that Dr. Gero named Cell. Although it would take the computer decades to complete its work, the android Cell became one of the most powerful enemies the defenders of Earth ever faced. However, decades before Cell was ready, the androids numbered 17 and 18 were activated and almost proved too much for the defenders of the Earth to handle. An organic android looks completely real and sounds like a real person and cam even bleed like a real person, but they are much stronger, faster, and tougher. One of the keys to Dr. Gero's androids was their ability to manipulate Ki energy. The androids had almost limitless power to use these techniques and had all of the advantages of being an android, such as never needing to sleep or eat or even breathe. However, the organic androids can be made to mimic all of the functions of a normal person, including reproductive abilities and the feeling like it needs to eat, but these traits are not necessary. The organic androids could be programmed by the creator, but in the absence of their creator, the androids are programmed to adapt to their surroundings as needed. For example, Android 18 was programmed to kill Goku, but with the death of Dr. Gero and her life being spared by Goku's friend Krillin, Android 18 eventually abandoned her original programming and went on to marry Krillin after Cell was defeated.

Regeneration: The Organic Androids were build with amazing regenerative capabilities. The androids regenerate at a rate of 2D6 M.D.C. per melee and can regenerate whole limbs as long as their head remains attached to their bodies. It takes an entire day for a limb to be regenerated. This ability can work in conjunction with the Regeneration ki technique.

Ability to Manipulate Ki Energy: Dr. Gero always designed his organic androids with the intent of using them against Goku and Goku's friends and allies. Realizing that Goku could access energies that Dr. Gero barely understood, Dr. Gero spent years developing the technology required to allow his creations to manipulate that same energy. Eventually he was successful and both his organic and mechanical creations could manipulate ki energy. An organic android can select any Ki

4 Manipulation Technique except for the following Power Increasing techniques: Fusion, Second Wind, and Transformation, and the following Legendary techniques: Body Transfer.

ISP Matrix: The most important feature of an organic android is its ISP Matrix. Without this matrix, an android cannot use any of its ki manipulation techniques because it does not possess ISP or PPE like a normal creature. The main benefit of this matrix, aside from providing the android with ability to use ki techniques, is that it provides an unlimited supply of ISP. There is literally no end to the power that the organic android can access. However, there is one drawback and that is that the android is limited in how much ISP it can draw from the matrix each melee round. This was an unfortunate limitation in the amazing device built by Dr. Gero. However, as the android matures, its control over the matrix increases, allowing it to access greater and greater amounts of energy. An organic android can access up to 50 ISP from the matrix per level of experience per melee round. This means, for example, that if a first level organic android used two techniques that cost 25 ISP each, then it could not use any more ki techniques that required ISP for the remainder of that melee round. In addition, the android can select any ki technique that requires a permanent ISP sacrifice, which has no effect on the ISP Matrix, and any minimum ISP requirement that a ki technique might have, such as Bukujutsu (Flight), is always met. It is important to note that the ISP Matrix in Android 17, Android 18, and Cell were much more advanced then this design and represented the height of Dr. Gero's abilities.

Experience Level: Average experience level of 1D6. Combat Skills: Starts with 3 attacks per melee (this is in addition to Hand-toHand combat skills), +4 to initiative, and +2 to roll with punch, fall, and impact. Damage: As per Robotic Strength. Penalties: The Organic Androids created by Dr. Gero are sure of their own superiority. They are taught from a young age that they are superior to normal Humans and that they are among the most powerful beings in the universe. This makes them arrogant when facing unknown enemies and very surprised and angry if they encounter an opponent that is more powerful or as powerful as they are. R.C.C. Skills:
