PowerPD,Inc.
PowerPD benefits are:

PowerPD's installed equipment offers continuous on-line monitoring of UHV/HV recording
real acoustic, electrical, and electro magnetic waves.

PowerPD's multi-functional portable equipment allows flexibility of testing and monitoring
during normal inspection process.
PowerPD's equipment monitor and measures a PD pattern trend to give valuable tools for
engineers to make decision to save cost in repairs and loss of revenue
Provides earliest warning for incipient faults.
Installed on fully loaded and energized electrical equipment, completely non-intrusive,
no need for an outage to install
On-line Continuous Partial Discharge Diagnositc for
Display of PD Detection
AE sensers on the Transformer and HFCT
Configuration of PD-TP500A
Transformers
The PD-TM Series are non-portable, mounted type unit.
PD-TM500, 1000, 1500 are on-line diagnostic systems that
continuously monitors partial discharge in equipment
such as GIS, CGIS and Transformers. These units detect,
analyze and locate the signal source of partial discharge
or arcing. This test equipment is mounted on or near the
electrical eqiupment under test, inthe weather proof housing.

Connects to your system via SCADA
Simulataneously measures AE (Acoustic emission) via 4
sensors and electrical discharges via a clamp-on type CT.
The CT is a High Frequency Current Transducer (HFCT)

Installed on fully loaded and energized electrical
equipment, completely non-intrusive, no need for
outage to install
Used on transformers, LTCs, LAs, Circuit Breakers,
Cable terminations and Gas
Insulated Substations (GIS)
Sensitivity = AE : 20 pC ; HFCT : 5 pC
PD-TP500A is a portable online diagnostic system which
periodically monitors partial discharge in equipment such
as Transformers, GIS and Circuit Breakers. The PD-TP500A
will detect, analyze and find the signal source locations.
With the benefit of being portable, the PD-TP500A is perfect
for day to day testing or special test on equipment which
does not have a continuous on-line monitoring system.

Used on fully loaded and energized electrical
equipment completely non-intrusive
Simultaneously measures AE (acoustic emission)
via 4 sensors and electrical discharge via a clamp-on
type CT. The CT is a High Frequency Current
Transducer(HFCT)
Detects , measures and locates signal sources from PD

Used on transformers, LTCs, Cooling system pumps
and motors, LAs, Circuit Breakers & Gas Insulated
Substations (GIS)
Sensitivity = AE:20 pC ; HFCT: 5 pC ,
Portable, uses AC power source
Connects to your laptop via USB port.

Specification
PD-RD300A along with a MUX module can cover up to 16 MCSG
in order to reduce the prime cost of system. Consequently,
PD-RD300A is a cost effective and reliable on-line PD monitoring
system for MCSG. PD-RD300A is designed to detect electromagnetic
wave generating from the PD signal by means of antenna. Measured
data from each MCSG are saved in the PC for future analysis.
PD-RD300A provides an early warning signal for potential
failures that will result in lost equipment and revenue
The ability to link up to 32 units using an RS-422 allows
the user a greater degree of protection for critical
substation equipment.
Continuously monitors and detects fault conditions of
MCSG
Reduces maintenance costs and the likelihood of
unexpected power failure
Enables maintenance managers to manage risk and avoid
costly damage to adjacent equipment
Detects PD coming from the inside of high voltage
motors and generators, the PD signal coupling in each
phase (A.B.C Phase) using Capacitor Coupler. This system
executes the surveillance and canalization of insulation
condition of the high voltage motors & generators through
QM/NQN analysis.
PD-MIMS continually monitors and stores
test results
Detects abnormal conditions in motors and
generators giving early warning when action is
needed to prevent failure
Reduces maintenannce costs and operational
expenses
This test device continuosly scans between
200 KHz-300 MHz
