am currently an international high school student in Seoul. My goal is to succeed as an architect by adapting creative ideas to real life through teamwork. By following this career plan, Ill be able to achieve my dreams. College I will be studying at a university in the United States that specifically focuses on studies of engineering and/or technology that isnt a school of the Ivy League, but just as competitive. I will major in architectural engineering and also study studio art as my minor. First Step I will begin my career in engineering through an internship under an independently working architect. Through this internship, I want to find a position within architect teams that fit me the most and want to visit construction sites to see how architects direct the building process. After interning under an architect, I will begin submitting my resume to architect firms. For my first job, I want to work for a small firm to take time learning more about the job. A Step Further After developing my skills at a small firm, I would like to work for the architecture company Gensler. Id love to work as their Architectural Designer in their designer offices preferably either in San Francisco or Beijing. I strongly wish to design for all purposes rather than specializing my area and would love to design internationally.

Reaching the Peak

Reaching the Peak At the highest of my career, I wish to work as a Master Planning Leader at Gensler leading the master planning design team. During my work, Id love to move around in several design offices and continue designing for international clients. I want to lead my team in designing structures that are creative, but also memorable and appreciated. After a few years at Gensler, I want to come out of the company and work as an independent architect. I want to work with a small team on my own to design for clients. At the very end of my career, I will retire and come back to Korea.
