Eastern European scientist said: Normally scientists will not understand easily how radioactivity can be neutralised by doing

AGNIHOTRA. They always think of burning something as a chemical process only. But if it is only a chemical process then the nuclei of the atoms would not be changed. And therefore radioactivity could not be affected at all. But in the last few years there were some articles on so-called Cold Fusion where under quite normal conditions in laboratories, atoms were fused. Most scientists do not believe that this is possible. However, these reports were correct. In the Agnihotra process there is also something like cold fusion. This explains how radioactivity can be eliminated. The brainwaves of a person sitting near Agnihotra have an impact on the flame. If you measure the frequencies of the flame by some optical methods we could get something like EEG without even touching that person. AGNIHOTRA ASH AND RADIOACTIVITY After the Chernobyl nuclear accident, a meeting was held in Munich, between scientists of former Soviet Union and what was then West Germany. The presentation was made by Soviet scientists. Some of the things discussed were as follows: We have confirmed that the Agnihotra ash is the only absolutely pure substance which can work directly against radioactivity. It is working on a very simple principle. Our body is not able to recognize different elements like for example atoms of iron, and even less if they are radioactive or not. For example I eat an iron atom with my food and my body is not able to recognize it. When my body is filled with non-radioactive elements, then all that is coming in from any radioactive element will be thrown out; that is the principle of metabolism. Be it caesium, iron or any other element. We need caesium every day, iodine too, but when I take this same non-radioactive elements before, through the intake of Agnihotra ash, radioactive elements will not stay in the body; they come in and go out again! That means that from the Agnihotra ash we can make tablets and they act against radioactivity! Each scientist must say yes to this possibility! But the cow dung, the ghee, the rice, all the substances used for Agnihotra process should not be radioactive. I know that in India and in Australia these substances are not polluted. We should start to produce Agnihotra ash tablets, either in India or in Europe, but with non-radioactive substances. This must be done in mass scale! I'm sorry to say that we shall start this as a "business", but is for helping humanity! Chernobyl was very dangerous, but today it's even more dangerous. Before the radioactive elements were in the air - now they are in the soil.... Europe is suffering! Children don't have enough non-radioactive elements. Of course the TVs, newspapers and radios don't speak about the real situation, but the scientists and experts know that it's very dangerous. Every day becomes more and more difficult. Again I say that we must produce Agnihotra ash tablets! In the Agnihotra ash there are 92 elements! We have to check the elements that are in the ash. Then we have to know how is the quality and the amount of each of these elements within the ash and how much Agnihotra ash a man needs for his daily dose. The main point is, that the elements of Agnihotra ash have not become radioactive. All medical medicine, every tablet, vitamin, etc. are radioactive, especially in Europe. So the two important points are, that Agnihotra ash contains more elements than any tablet known up to now and secondly, the conventional tablets are radioactive and Agnihotra ash is not radioactive! An example: the cow takes 92 elements when she eats grass and during the whole cycle 92 elements go out daily. So 92 elements go in, 92 go out and within the cow there also remain 92 elements all the time. That is the cycle. The same happens with every animal. It is only a difference in the concentration of the elements. Cows, men and goats have quite a similar concentration of these elements. When we take the product of a cow, what comes out has all the 92 elements! A cow is like a factory producing ghee and cowdung! Ghee has about 90% carbon. It is very rare, to find such an amount of carbon in any substance. The analysis of the Agnihotra ash will show if there is some radioactive carbon in the ghee. After the burning of the ghee it is not an organic material anymore. It becomes again a mineral substance. The mineral is again prepared to be returned to the earth. The burning process can take place by Agnihotra. The input and output weight are the same. Both cannot undergo any change. The atomic weight of the carbon is 6, and it does not change. You can burn it, you can feed a cow with it, or give it to a person, it always has the same weight. Here the scientists think in a different way. They think it is not the same if carbon is going through a mans or a cows body, the weight remains the same, but within the carbon there are some subatomic particles. The physicist has found - beside protons, neutrons and electrons - about 2223 subatomic particles, but science does not know what to do with them. Why they are like that, nobody knows. Dr Miroslav Haber on Radioactivity In physiological terms the body constantly exchanges all its elements (not cells). There are only some exceptions, like the lenses of the eyes and some parts of the nervous system. The mechanism of this exchange of elements in the body is not exactly known. For this exchange the body constantly needs elements like calcium, copper, iron etc. As long as these

elements are not radioactive the body functions normally. Our body can deal well with the natural radioactivity which has been existing since millions of years on this planet. However, since the Chernobyl accident we are dealing with a much increased manmade radioactivity. Many radioactive elements like Caesium, Iodine, Iron, etc. have fallen onto this earth. The half-life period of these isotopes is rather high for some of them. They went from the air into the earth, from there into our food salads vegetables, fruits. Through our food we absorb radioactive elements. This is because our body cannot distinguish whether an element is radioactive or not, and thus it absorbs the element without selection. Once a radioactive element is stored in the body it radiates all the time (like a lighthouse) and destroys the cells in its surroundings. The body reacts with an infection (with luck the radioactive element is thereby thrown out of the body) or it reacts by forming a tumor, a cancer. How can we avoid the absorption of radioactive elements into our body? The answer is simple - we have to give the body each element in a natural (non-radioactive) form. Once the body is saturated with these elements, any radioactive versions of these elements thereafter are not absorbed by the body any longer. It very quickly gets rid of them. The newly absorbed non-radioactive elements will by and by replace the radioactive substances which we had absorbed in earlier time and which our body had stored. Now where do we get these non-radioactive elements from in order to protect our body? The experiment that was conducted some time ago has shown that the Agnihotra ash (which at the time was produced by about 40 participants according to special directions of Dr Haber) was not radioactive, even though the ingredients were radioactive. (Till now we do not have an explanation of how this is possible but the measurements of this effect were very clear.) How this mechanism of changing radioactive elements into non-radioactive elements works we do not yet understand. It cannot be explained neither by modern chemistry nor by physics. But the result has been tested several times with always the same outcome: The Agnihotra ash just had natural radioactivity. Also the Agnihotra ash contains all the 92 natural chemical elements. In this way the bodys total requirement can be covered. Therefore it is suggested to everybody to eat say a teaspoon of Agnihotra ash before every meal. Most important is in the morning. An easier way would be to make tablets from the ash which can easily be taken (as people are used to take tablets). Dr Haber stated that it will be necessary to produce big quantities of Agnihotra ash, he said: in barrels. But also plants should get Agnihotra ash because they face the same problem of radioactivity.

Pot to be used of a specific shape and size The Pyramids of Egypt built thousands of years ago are one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Pyramid is like somebody has kept the Agnihotra pot upside down or it can be said that the Agnihotra pot is the Pyramid kept upside down. More convincingly, however, the thought appeals to the mind that pyramids were built keeping in view the upside down shape of the Agnihotra pot incorporated with scientific wisdom for fire-worship which began alongwith Creation. The proof of this lies in the word 'Pyramid' itself. The Greek language words 'Pyr' (meaning 'fire') and 'amid' (meaning 'centre') together make the complete word 'Pyramid' which obviously means 'such shape in the centre of which fire dwells.' The book 'Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain' describes in details the sustaining effects of 'Pyramid' shape. According to the book electro-magnetic forces are present inside the Pyramid. These forces prevent any object kept inside from decomposing. According to the scientists of NASA the Pyramid energy will prove to be more revolutionary than the solar energy. The electro-magnetic powers entering the pyramid shape preserves eatables, raw milk etc. kept inside for many days without their becoming stale. A dead body kept inside this shape does not get decomposed neither it stinks. According to the book ('Psychic Discoveries Behind The Iron Curtain') one of the secrets of the pyramid is the shape. The shape generates energy. The Czech's are of the view that the pyramid is a cosmic generator. The authors have quoted a keen researcher, Keral Drbal of Czechoslovakia who has carried out several experiments with miniature pyramids. Drbal observed that there is a relation between the shape inside the pyramid and the physical, chemical and biological processes going on inside that space. He

thinks that the shape of the pyramid itself accumulates electromagnetic waves or cosmic waves or some other energy waves. The energy accumulating inside the pyramid might be the basis of the effect the pyramid had on physical, chemical and biological processes. He further says that the pyramid shape has a very good, healthy effect for humans. Some researchers are of the belief that hospitals built in this form (shape) could help in patients recovering faster. It is also believed that mentally disturbed psychic patients experience an exceptionally tranquil feeling inside buildings of pyramid shape. People who have tested the use of pyramid shaped hats say they relieve headaches. But behind all this information there are still questions that intrigue the scientists. They are still probing as to what exactly is going on under the pyramid. The book also mentions that after working on a million dollar project for more than a year (to X-ray the pyramid at Gizeh near Cairo with all the latest space-age electronic equipment that ran round the clock recording on magnetic tape the patterns of cosmic rays reaching the interior of the pyramid) its in-charge Dr. Amr Gohed reported to The Times of London that 'the scientists had reached an impasse. Whatever was happening in the pyramid defies all the known laws of science and electronics.' He further confessed that 'there is some force that defies the laws of science at work in the pyramid.'

In pyramid shape electro-magnetic forces get accumulated and they protect the objects or things kept inside it. In the Agnihotra pot the same forces decentralise the energies that are generated in the outer space and spread them in its surrounding atmosphere. It can, therefore, well be imagined what unusual results in purification of the atmosphere could be obtained with the performance of Agnihotra in the pyramid shaped pot. The offerings of the prescribed ingredients to the fire in this pot accompanied by the chanting of the mantras create vibrations of certain frequencies at the definite transitional timings which are decidedly and exceptionally beneficial. Usually it is more advantageous if the pot is of copper. You know well that copper is the best conductor of electricity. According to a Yugoslavian scientist molecules of various types of metals are of different shapes but the molecules of copper metal are exactly like that of the pyramid shape. This observation itself denotes that the copper metal is for Agnihotra pot. The Agnihotra pot is of a specific size and shape. Its dimensions are 14.5 x 14.5 cms. at the top 5.25 x 5.25 cms. at the bottom and 6.5 cms. in height. Towards the height there are three uniformly sized levels (or chambers). From each level (chamber) the rising pot's height and breadth has increased proportionately to reach the specified dimensions. The Vedas have prescribed various Yagnyas (sacrifices) starting from Agnihotra to Ashwamedha Yagnya, the ultimate in Yagnyas. For every Yagnya pots or altars of various shapes and sizes are prescribed. Similarly, the mantras, the time, the ingredients for oblations etc. are also different. Accordingly, for daily Agnihotra the pot of the above size and shape is prescribed. In the practice of daily Agnihotra the copper metal of the pot acts as a catalyst and hence the suggestion to use the pot of this metal. However, if the copper pot is not available due to some reason Agnihotra can be performed in a pot of the same shape made of clay. The Agnihotra pot with its gifted power comes in direct contact with the energies emanating from the rising or setting Sun and varying phases of the Moon. Whether it is day or night the pot comes in contact with the flow of all planetary energies coming from the direction of space. The Agnihotra pot is considered a receiver of these energies. This is the reason it was observed that at certain intervals bursts of energy emanate from this pot. Its power hauls in the nutritional elements from the outer space and spreads it in the atmosphere of the house. Slowly the surroundings of the place where Agnihotra was performed is cleansed of the poisonous pollutants and a pleasing fragrance is filled in the atmosphere. The power of the Agnihotra pyramid increases multifold as soon as it comes in direct contact with the Agnihotra fire.

About the geometry of the AGNIHOTRA pot

When interested people come to know Agnihotra, occasionally the question arises why two steps are to be seen at the coppery frustum of pyramid which is used for the fire technique. Many years ago, Horst Heigl (birthname Lozynski) recognized that shape, steps and rim of the Agnihotra pot are in no way only due to manufacturing. They are a mathematical consequence of the special geometry which itself reflects high spiritual knowledge. In the course of his further work, he detected the relation between base, the two steps and the upper rim in a geometrical system of square, circle and triangle.

Here, a brief abstract of his researches:

In the 1980s, Horst Heigl occupied himself intensively with the world-renowned painting The Last Supper of Leonardo da Vinci and in 1987 published a part of his findings in a two-volume book Enthllte Geheimnise vom Abendmahl des Leonardo da Vinci (Revealed Secrets of Leonardo da Vincis Last Supper). Volume II describes and illustrates different geometrical systems which show amazing relations between the painting, the pyramid of Giza and the Agnihotra pot. Horst Heigl copied a proportion figure out of a square, its inscribed circle and the circumcircle, which is again the inscribed circle of a larger square etc., onto the room square of the painting and onto a cross section of the pyramid of Giza. This approach revealed not only astounding me asurements, as for example the floor of the Kings Chamber and another assumed temple, but transferred on the Agnihotra pot geometrical relations to its height and the two steps (see illus. 30 in the abovementioned book and the corresponding text). In this book, the author already explains also the meaning of the non-existent top.

In autumn 2010, while working on the basic book Agnihotra Ursprung, Praxis und Anwendungen (Agnihotra Origin, Practice and Applications), Horst Heigl delved again into the geometry of the Agnihotra pot. Inclination angle, base and steps were measured with greatest accuracy. A twelve-side chapter issues the results of his researches. It was shown, for example, that the angle measured along the sides approximates the inclination angle of the pyramid of Giza. The two steps and the outer rim arise out of the proportion figure of square, inscribed circle and circumcircle which was already prominent with the painting The Last Supper. The begi nning of the upper rim can be construed from an equilateral triangle in the geometric system of th e quadrature of the circle.

Circle, triangle and square are basic geometric shapes of Creation. Symbolically, triangle and square also represent the active and passive principle. Regarding the circle, Horst Heigl writes: It is the symbol of the Absolute the one almighty God and his work. The circumcircle, respectively the inscribed circle illustrate that God encloses everything and is contained in everything. Thus, this construction reveals astounding knowledge! (see Book Agnihotra, p. 38) These few intimations may suffice to show that in the construction of the Agnihotra pot, such as it was given by Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj for the fire techniques Agnihotra and Yajnya, high spiritual knowledge is hidden. By the Agnihotra pot, a great help was given to transform the predominating powers of man. To those who want to occupy themselves more intensively with this knowledge, we recommend the two named books. By combining the knowledge you find there, you can deduce much more than could be written in this article.

Agnihotra Pyramids - The Scientific Meaning

There has been some confusion about which pyramids can be used for the Agnihotra process, as there are some pyramids on the market which differ in size, shape and/or material from the Agnihotra pyramids which we have been using for decades now. As this Agnihotra copper pyramid is an essential element of Agnihotra, this is an important subject. Let us look into it in more detail. First we have compiled some of the statements from ancient Vedic knowledge about the role of this copper pyramid in the Agnihotra process, as given in the writings of Shree Vasant Paranjpe. Shree Vasant on Agnihotra pyramids

"A copper pyramid of fixed size is used in the process of Agnihotra healing fire." --Homa Therapy, Our Last Chance, Fivefold Path, Inc., 1989, p.14. "Copper and gold are the only metals prescribed for the pyramid container used for Agnihotra fire. It is common knowledge of all ancient traditions all over the planet that copper and gold have healing properties. According to science of HOMA Therapy there is only a slight difference between the healing properties of gold and copper when used as pyramid containers for preparing Agnihotra fire." - Ibid., 13. "There is a sound that emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid..." "Much energy, much positive energy, much healing energy emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid..." "In addition to other effects, at certain intervals bursts of energy emanate from the Agnihotra copper pyramid, depending on the phase of the moon and the position of the Earth in relation to the sun. These bursts of energy thrust nutrients and fragrance though the solar range, having a profound impact on the mind." "Tremendous amounts of energy are gathered around the Agnihotra copper pyramid just at Agnihotra time. A magnetic-type field is created, one which neutralizes negative types of energy and reinforces positive types of energy. Therefore a positive pattern is created by one who does Agnihotra merely by his/her performance." - Ibid., 19-20. The pyramid is the generator, the fire, the turbine." - Agnihotra flier, Fivefold Path, Inc. "The energies spiral in a counter clockwise fashion when coming from the Agnihotra pyramid because a tremendous amount of impact and acceleration of those energies is generated that way. Also as the energies move in an upward direction, they are simultaneously moving outward from the copper pyramid in all directions, thereby spreading the effects of Agnihotra to a wider area. There is, though, a concentration of those energies thrust to the North. The word thrust is important here." - Ibid., 22. "The pyramid, that vessel of a particular shape and size is the generator. It guides and directs the energy in a perfect way, in a direction that has a particular configuration which has an effect on what is really man, the soul." - Ibid., 19. "The specific frequencies of the different steps of the pyramid could be measured if a scientist wishes to put his mind into it. The most intensive sound waves have their origins at the four sides of the pyramid, forming a small angle. From inside the pyramid a standing wave of a certain frequency is sent out." - Homa Therapy, Our Last Chance, Fivefold Path Publications, 2005, chapter 12, 3rd paragraph. "Just at morning Agnihotra time all the electricities, energies, ethers are attracted to the pyramid in its shape. At sunset these energies are thrust out in the same shape..." For Agnihotra you require a copper pyramid of specific size. Copper is a conductor for subtle energies also." - Agnihotra flier, Fivefold Path, Inc.

Some of these statements from the ancient Science of Vedas are still difficult to understand in terms of modern science. But what we do understand is that the Agnihotra pyramid is a scientific tool which works on sound (vibration) and resonance. Important features of this tool which affect production and resonance of sound are size, shape, and material. Size For sound, the size of the vibrating parts of an instrument is crucial; e.g. if you change the length of the strings of a guitar by just a few centimeters, the sound generated would be changed. Similarly with the Agnihotra pyramid, if you change the size, the resulting vibrations would also change and thus affect the healing properties of this Agnihotra fire. The specific size and shape of our Agnihotra pyramid were not available in the market (although there are pyramids of different sizes and shapes used in other traditional havans in India). Shree Gajanan Maharaj told one disciple to prepare a copper pyramid of this specific size and shape, and all the pyramids which are sold by Certified Homa Therapy Centres use these specifications. It was interesting to hear what one senior scientist from Eastern Europe said when he examined the Agnihotra pyramid the first time. He was very much astonished and mentioned that only a genius could have designed this Agnihotra pyramid. He found so many mathematically astonishing relations in the pyramid, such as several ratios containing pi, and e (the basis of natural logarithms; next to pi, a fundamentally important mathematical constant). Shape "The specific frequencies of the different steps of the pyramid could be measured if a scientist wishes to put his mind into it. The most intensive sound waves have their origins at the four sides of the pyramid, forming a small angle. From inside the pyramid a standing wave of a certain frequency is sent out."

From this description it is clear that changing the shape (the angles of the sides, the proportions of the three steps, the edge) would change the way sound is emitted from the steps of the different sides. Also this standing wave could be affected. One Eastern European physicist mentioned that if you keep the Agnihotra pyramid at a certain height there would be a sound sent to all of your seven chakras: from the bottom of the pyramid your heart chakra would be reached, from the three steps of the side next to you your three lower chakras, and from the opposite side of the pyramid the three upper chakras. Many years ago someone in Poland had the idea to put a raised dot on one side of the pyramid, which makes it easier to always keep the pyramid facing the same direction (which we now need for installing resonance systems). Only after we showed this pyramid to Shree Gajanan Maharaj (who at that time still was in the physical body) and got His approval, we continued with the production. Recently some pyramids came on the market with embossed letters on the edge (rim). This will definitely interfere with the functioning of the Agnihotra pyramid as a scientific tool. These pyramids cannot be used for Agnihotra. Samples of pyramids which cannot be used for Agnihotra:

Not suitable for Agnihotra: The sides of the pyramid Not suitable for Agnihotra: Words are embossed on are punctured to add handles, thus damaging the the edge (left side) pyramid shape.
Material: Copper "Copper and gold are the only metals prescribed for the pyramid container used for Agnihotra fire. It is common knowledge of all ancient traditions all over the planet that copper and gold have healing properties. According to science of HOMA Therapy there is only a slight difference between the healing properties of gold and copper when used as pyramid containers for preparing Agnihotra fire." - Homa Therapy, Our Last Chance, Fivefold Path, Inc., 1989, p.13. One physicist stated that the crystal structure of copper is in the shape of a pyramid; therefore, we have a special resonance which will be disturbed if copper is adulterated. Thus, it is important that only pure copper is used for the production of copper pyramids. Best is electrolytic quality virgin copper made from copper ore, not from recycled material. Recycled copper may contain traces of all kinds of other materials and of course the vibrations of the previous usage. As prices of copper have more than tripled in the last eight years it is tempting for producers who see the production of pyramids just as business to add some cheaper metals to copper in order to increase profits. This is not so easy to see, but these other metals interfere with the vibrational effects of copper. Do not bang or scrape the pyramid, as it will interfere with the crystalline structure of the copper, thereby disrupting the Agnihotra process. But even if you take proper care it happens that after years of performing Agnihotra pyramids show some signs of long usage. The main thing is that the shape has to be correct.

Sometimes it happens that some cracks or holes develop at the sides of Agnihotra pyramids. These pyramids cannot be used for Homa fires any more. But instead of throwing them away one could use them as pots for plants or bury them in the garden, as they still contain the vibration of all the Homas performed in them. Sometimes the shape of the pyramid changes; e.g. the edges or sides are no longer flat but become undulated. As the shape of our Agnihotra pyramid is essential, these pyramids also should not be used any longer, but in this case you can repair the damage. One way is to send it back to the producer who can easily press it back to shape again. Or, if you have access to a stack of twenty new Agnihotra pyramids, you can put the damaged pyramid in the middle (ten below, ten above)and then put pressure from above. (See top right photo.) This will help to get the used pyramid in shape again.

Not suitable for Agnihotra: Warped pyramids that need re-pressing.

A repaired pyramid

Similarly, when an Agnihotra pyramid falls on the ground and a corner is bent, you can either use the same method, or you can put the edge with the bent corner on some hard wood and then exert some pressure so that it will be even again. The main thing is that when you look along the top edge and along the sides, they must be straight. Also when looking from above into the pyramid, all sides should be square to each other (90 degrees). How to be sure? How to be sure that a pyramid you buy is of correct size, shape, and material for Agnihotra? The best way is to buy only from Homa centres run by certified Homa Therapy teachers.

There, the main focus is to teach Homa Therapy in its pure form and support others to practise it. No compromise in quality of the materials will be made there, as Homa Therapy is the first priority, not profit. A list of such centres can be found at www.agnihotra.org and www.homatherapy.org. Also, you can recognize these centres by the offical Homa Therapy logo. It is a registered trademark which, by law, can only be used by official Homa Therapy centers.

Effect of Agnihotra on Aerial Microflora

Scientific Validation

Our way of life has intensified the quantum of pollution. No place can be called safe from pollution. What varies is the type of pollutant and the degree of pollution. Pollution is of various types such as gaseous pollution, water pollution, food pollution, radioactive pollution and so on. Of these types microbial pollution is the most important type of pollution for people in the medical or paramedical field. Microorganisms are ubiquitous in nature. There are mainly two types, namely non-pathogenic or saprophytic (harmless and not causing any disease) and pathogenic (disease producing). There are certain opportunistic pathogens which, given a chance, can produce disease in human beings. Thus the mere presence of these microorganisms in a definite strength in various media can produce contaminants. Microorganisms like Salmonellae, Shigellae or Vibrios contaminate water, eatables, milk and milk products. When the contaminated eatables are consumed the individual suffers from typhoid, bacillary dysentery or cholera. Similarly, organisms like Staphylococci cause food poisoning by increasing toxins in food. This microorganism also causes wound infections with pus formation. Streptococci infect the respiratory tract after inhalation of the droplet nuclei on which they are settled. Hospital infections by Staphylococci and Pseudomones are not uncommon. Recently, Pseudomonas aeruginosa has been reported to have entered the space age. This microorganism was isolated from the lining of the fuel tank of a jet engine and was found to be responsible for the corrosion of the tank. It is stated that Agnihotra helps to undo the effects of pollution. In this respect it was decided to observe the last type of pollutant, i.e., microorganisms and the effect of Agnihotra on them. The present article restricts only to the effect of Agnihotra on microorganisms as observed in a microbiology laboratory. Details of experiments undertaken by Dr. A. G. Mondkar of Bombay in 1982. The attempt is to show the results of Agnihotra, a fumigation process based on the biorhythm of nature corresponding to sunrise/sunset. A copper pyramid of fixed shape and size is used in the process of Agnihotra.

Details of the Room

Outline shows the walls of the room. A, B, C, D, E and F indicate the position of the petri plates. A and D plates were on the floor, forming XY plane. E and F plates were placed at 6' 9/1 above the floor of the room forming Z axis. The North-South direction of the room is shown near A. The distance between plates is indicated by arrows.

Bacteriological Results

The full names of the Microorganisms listed in the above table are given below. The observations of Plate E are not in line with other five plates, so Plate E will be studied more carefully in our next experiment. The number following each Microorganism indicates the number of Microorganisms of that type observed in that plate.

Observations
In Plate C, "D. pneumoniae" disappeared within 30 minutes. In Plate A, fungal colony disappeared within 30 minutes. In Plates A and D, "B. subtilis" disappeared within 60 minutes while the same organism disappeared within 30 minutes in B. Rest of the organisms were reduced in their numbers. There is a definite reduction in the Aerial Microflora after performing Agnihotra.

(Agnihotra atmosphere discourages the production and growth of some organisms. Such organisms try to escape from this atmosphere.)

Full Names of the Microorganisms

The complete name of the microorganism is given first and the short form is given in brackets. 1. Staphylococcus albus (Staph. albus or St. alb.): Usually found on the skin. Water Quality Purification

Posted on December 14, 2010 by Tourist

After the origin of life in water everything of living organisms is sustained by water. Not only biotic components, abiotic components on the Earth depends on water. Water is not only essential to life but is predominate inorganic constituent of living matter forming nearly three quarters of the weight of a living cell. In living tissue water is the medium for many biological reactions and extraction processor of inorganic nutrients photosynthetic ingredients and minerals etc. are transported in aqueous medium. In short water is essential for life and plays a unique role virtually as medium in all biological process. Water quality includes all physical, chemical and biological factors that influence the beneficial use of water. Physico-chemical analysis is the prime consideration to assess the quality of water for its best utilization like drinking, irrigation, fisheries, industrial purpose etc. and helpful in understanding the complex processes, interaction between the climatic and biological processes in the water. River Narmada is the most important river system of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Besides being a very important source of water. The Narmada basin lies between east longitudes 72o32 to 81o45 and north latitudes 21o20 to 28o45. Narmada River is a lotic water resource. It is the only non snow fed perennial river in India. Narmada River water is mainly used for irrigation, drinking, fishery, electricity generation and domestic purpose. Few of the physico-chemical parameters are studied to

assess the quality of water. Pollution is the biggest problem now a days. Besides our atmosphere ,soil and all water resources are affected by pollution The article describes effect of Homa Therapy based on the ancient science of Vedas which offers solutions to reduce the pollution of our environment and water recourses. Some preliminary studies about the efficacy of the method are reported, showing, e.g., that water in different sampling stations of Narmada region. During the study period 4 sampling station were selected for the water quality assessment. Water samples were collected pre-cleaned polythene containers and preserved according to stand red method (APHA 2002) at monthly interval from the selected sampling station. From and brought to the laboratory for various physico-chemical analysis. A. Omkareshwar Omkareshwar is a famous place of pilgrimages, situated 77 km from indore in Khandwa District. Preamble Aloe vera is a plant that looks like a cactus, but is actually a member of the lily family. The particular kind of Aloe vera is used for natural remedies and its leaves contain a gel that is rich in therapeutic properties. Aloe appears to inhibit infection and promote healing of minor burns and wounds, and possibly of skin affected by diseases such as psoriasis. Dried aloe latex is used, with caution, as a drastic cathartic. Aloe vera is a perennial crop. The first cut is taken one year after planting. The plant is harvested for its fresh leaves. The crop is still in the growing stage. The data presented in Table 5.6 pertains to 90 days after planting. Table 5.6: Effect of organics on yield attributes of Aloe vera after 90 days of planting

T1= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Panchang; T2= T1 + biopesticide; T3= T1 + Agnihotra ash; T4= T1 + Bt & Himbio; T5= T1 + BD 500; T6= Control + Panchang; T7= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Non Panchang; T8= T7 + biopesticide; T9= T7 + Agnihotra ash; T10= T7 + Bt & Himbio ; T11= T7 + BD 500; T12= Control + Non Panchang Discussion As for the plant height and plant spread is concerned, it was found that there was a significant increase in Panchang sowing over the Non Panchang sowing in control (T6 &T12) while in the treatments where organics were added the

Panchang and the corresponding Non Panchang treatments were at par with each other. Highest plant height (32.53 cm) and plant spread (x= 25.62; y= 29.70) was obtained in treatment T3 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Panchang) and the lowest plant height (10.40 cm) and plant spread (x= 6.8 cm; y= 7.2 cm) were obtained in T12 (control + Non Panchang) treatment. Conclusions To sum up, it has been clearly demonstrated in this experiment that in aloe vera, addition of Agnihotra ash was significantly superior to other organic treatments. It significantly affected the growth and yield attributes of all the crops.

Preamble Lemongrass, is a perennial herb widely cultivated in the tropics and subtropics. The reported adaptation zone for o lemongrass is 18 to 29 C with an annual precipitation of 0.7 to 4.1 meters with a soil pH of 5.0 to 5.8. Since the plants rarely flower or set seed, propagation is by root or plant division. The plants are harvested mechanically or manually about four times each year with the productive life span between four and eight years. In the present experiment, the crop was harvested after 90 days of planting. Table 5.2: Effect of organic treatments on yield attributes and yield of lemon grass at first cut

T1= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Panchang; T2= T1 + biopesticide; T3= T1 + Agnihotra ash; T4= T1 + Bt & Himbio; T5= T1 + BD 500; T6= Control + Panchang; T7= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Non Panchang; T8= T7 + biopesticide; T9= T7 + Agnihotra ash; T10= T7 + Bt & Himbio ; T11= T7 + BD 500; T12= Control + Non Panchang Discussion There was a significant increase in the yield attributes viz plant height, number of leaves and plant spread and ultimately the yield of lemon grass increased with the addition of organics over the control. Highest biological yield (78.33 q ha-1) was obtained in the treatment T3 (Organic manure + Agnihotra ash + Panchang sowing) while lowest yield (28.33 q ha-1) was obtained in T12 (control + Non Panchang sowing). Of all the treatments where organics were added T3 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Panchang) was the best which was closely followed by T9 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Non Panchang) treatment. The third best treatment was T5 (Biodynamic BD500 + Panchang). Conclusions To sum up, it has been clearly demonstrated in this experiment that in aloe vera, addition of Agnihotra ash was significantly superior to other organic treatments. It significantly affected the growth and yield attributes of all the crops.

Preamble Wild marigold is a tall annual herb with pale yellow flowers, having a very strong and sharp smelling property. This herb has aromatic, antispasmodic, diuretic and purgative and also has digestive, vermifuge and very strong insecticide properties. The herb is grown with cultivated crops to deter insects, (specifically eel worms that react well to the thiophenes contained in the roots of the wild marigold plant) slugs and other pests, as well as weeds. It can be used to treat gastritis, indigestion and intestinal worms. Externally the herb has a positive effect on skin infections and is also used on hemorrhoids. Table 5.4: Effect of organics on yield attributes and yield of Wild marigold

T1= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Panchang; T2= T1 + biopesticide; T3= T1 + Agnihotra ash; T4= T1 + Bt & Himbio; T5= T1 + BD 500; T6= Control + Panchang; T7= FYM @20t/ha + vermicompost @15t/ha & Non Panchang; T8= T7 + biopesticide; T9= T7 + Agnihotra ash; T10= T7 + Bt & Himbio ; T11= T7 + BD 500; T12= Control + Non Panchang Discussion A critical study of the table 5.4 reveals that effect of sowing according to Panchang was significant in increasing the yield attributes and thus the yield over the Non Panchang sowing. The increase in yield in Panchang sowing was 30.6 and 25.77 per cent in control and Agnihotra ash, respectively. In other treatments it varied from 4.44 to 8.14 per cent. The treatment T3 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Panchang) was found to be significantly best in increasing the yield of wild marigold. While, the lowest yield was recorded in T12 (Control + Non Panchang). Among all the treatment where organics were added T3 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Panchang) was the best which was closely followed by T9 (Org. manure + Agnihotra ash + Non Panchang) treatment. The third best treatment was T4 (Bacillus thuringiensis & Himbio + Panchang). These results clearly indicate the importance of sowing according to Panchang and Agnihotra ash application increasing produce quality and quantity.

Conclusions To sum up, it has been clearly demonstrated in this experiment that in aloe vera, addition of Agnihotra ash was significantly superior to other organic treatments. It significantly affected the growth and yield attributes of all the crops.

The following experiments with Agnihotra and Homa Therapy were conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India. Preamble Homa Organic Farming has a strong potential for increasing the yield and quality in plant production. It also seems to be capable of regulating insect infestation and fungal disease in crops in an ecologically sound manner. In addition, soil characteristics with significant effect on yield such as plant availability of nutrients appear to be improved by this

technique. Thus it will be particularly interesting for organic farmers, as it may apply as a complementary method together with common methods of organic farming. Soya bean

The following experiments with Agnihotra and Homa Therapy were conducted at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka, India. Published in Karnataka J. Agric. Sci., 23 (5) : 2010 pp. 841-2

Preamble
A field experiment laid out in completely randomly block design with eight treatments exposed to Homa atmosphere replicated thrice was conducted during Kharif (monsoon) season 2009 to study the Biochemical efficacy of Homa Organic Farming in soybean crop (JS 335).

The conventional control (CC) and control without Homa (CWH) were maintained 1 km away. Basal treatment to all the Homa treatment (HT) seeds was fresh cow dung and cow urine. Agnihotra Homa (AH) at sunrise and sunset and Om Tryambakam Homa (OTH) performed for 3-4 h daily yielded smoke and ash. Homa ash was used for seed treatment and for furrow application. Biosol prepared, contained AH ash and was used for soil and foliar application.

Discussion
Table 1. Effect of Homa Organic Farming on Soybean Crop

The OTH ash as seed treatment and foliar application of Biosol was superior in plant height, dry matter accumulation (DMA) in leaves, grain and straw yield and 100 seed weight. The AH ash as seed treatment with Biosol as soil application was significantly superior over control in DMA in stem, total biomass per plant, number of pods per plant, nodule count and nodule dry weight wherein Homa ashes and Biosol as furrow application increased nodule count by 55-105 per cent over CC and 106-180 per cent over CWH. The macro and micro nutrients increased in soil with furrow application of both the Homa ashes and Biosol. Soil Zn content and dehydrogenase activity increased (151% and 233%, respectively) over control with soil application of AH ash and Biosol. Rust incidence and insect attack was significantly low (10-30 %) with foliar application of Biosol. Total protein and oil content increased on HT and activities of -amylase and invertase in soy seeds on soil application of Biosol were superior.

Photos l to r: root nodule formation without Homa; root nodule formation with Homa

Conclusion
Soil application of Biosol was effective in increasing the following: nodule count weight number of pods straw and grain yield

Foliar application of Biosol was effective in control of: rust pod borer and caterpillar

Furrow application of Homa ash was effective in increasing: organic carbon available phosphorus

as compared with control without Homa. Homa smoke, ashes and Biosol thus show promise to the farming community to produce disease-free, healthy crops with good returns.

Effects of Agnihotra
Agnihotra reduces tension on the mind. Agnihotra renews the brain cells. It revitalizes the skin. It purifies the blood. It provides the holistic approach to life. Agnihotra has the ability to neutralize pathogenic bacteria. You sit at Agnihotra fire and breathe in the smoke, which goes quickly into the bloodstream and lungs. This has excellent effect on circulatory system and even more so if Agnihotra ash is ingested. The smoke has a good effect on the brain and nervous system. If plants are kept in Homa atmosphere where vibrations of Agnihotra pyramid fire are maintained, one subtle enough can actually see growth, communication etc. Plants receive nutrition from Agnihotra atmosphere, become happy and grow well. Just as Agnihotra pyramid fire gives nourishment to plants, it provides the same for human life and animals. When Agnihotra is performed, the Agnihotra smoke gathers particles of harmful radiation from the atmosphere and on a very subtle level neutralizes their radioactive effect. Nothing is destroyed, merely changed. Much healing energy emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid. An aura energy field is created around plants during Agnihotra. Thus plants become stronger and disease resistant. When the flame dies the energy is locked in the resultant ash. This ash is used for preparing various folk medicines. Thousands of people on all continents belonging to different races, languages, religions and spiritual groups who practice Agnihotra have remarked that simply by performing daily HOMA, (i.e. Agnihotra sunrise/sunset) they feel like a protective film surrounds them.

How Does Agnihotra Work?

The sun brings or takes the energy, which makes all conditions conducive to an anti-pollutionary change. It calms the world. The pyramid is the generator, the fire, the turbine. The cow dung, ghee (clarified pure cow's butter without any additives) and rice then interact to form a composition which is thrust, surrounds, neutralizes and

nutritionalizes the material. Then, with organic substances, this provides the nutrients for survival, yield and propagation. This is how the Agnihotra fire physically heals the atmosphere. Just at morning Agnihotra all the electricities, energies, ethers are attracted to the pyramid in its shape. At sunset these energies are thrust out in same shape. This flood of energies at sunrise creates strong purifying effects on all levels wherever it touches the Earth. Agnihotra amplifies these purifying effects in the following way: o This flood of subtle energies carries music with it. The morning Agnihotra Mantra is the quintessential sound of that flood. o If you then prepare the fire in the prescribed copper pyramid, utter these mantras and offer the rice mixed with ghee to the fire, then a channel is being created through all the atmosphere and PRANA - life energy, is purified. Tremendous amounts of energy are gathered around the Agnihotra copper pyramid just at Agnihotra time. A magnetic type field is created, one which neutralizes negative energies and reinforces positive energies. When Agnihotra fire is burnt there is not just energy from the fire. The rhythms and Mantras generate subtle energies which are thrust into the atmosphere by fire. Also consider the quality of materials burnt wherein lies the full effect of this healing HOMA. Therefore a positive pattern is created by one who does Agnihotra merely by his/her performance

How to Perform Agnihotra

Prepare the Fire Place a flat piece of dried cow dung at the bottom of the copper pyramid. Arrange pieces of dried cow dung, which have been coated with ghee in the pyramid in such a manner as that allow air to pass. Apply a little ghee on the small piece of cow dung and light it. Insert this lighted piece of cow dung in the pyramid. Soon all the dung in the pyramid will catch fire. You may use a hand fan to help the flame. However, do not blow through the mouth to avoid bacteria from the mouth getting into the fire. Do not use any mineral oil or similar material to start the fire. At the exact time of sunrise and sunset when the offerings are made the fire should be fully ablaze in the pyramid.

Agnihotra Process Take a few grains of rice in a dish or your left palm and apply a few drops of ghee. Exactly at sunrise utter the first Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice from your right hand (as little as you can hold in the pinch of your fingers will be sufficient) in the fire. Utter the second Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice from the right hand in the fire. At sunset do the same by using evening Mantras. Agnihotra Mantras are to be recited only once and only two offerings given at each Agnihotra performance. If you miss the timing it is not Agnihotra and you will not get the healing effect on the atmosphere or in the ash. After each Agnihotra try to spare as many minutes as you can for meditation. You can sit quietly at least till the fire extinguishes itself. Agnihotra creates a medicinal and healing atmosphere. If possible the Agnihotra pyramid and the energy resulting from the Agnihotra process is best left undisturbed until the next Agnihotra time. Just before the next Agnihotra you can empty the ash using your right hand and store it in a bag, box, glass jar or clay pot. The ash from the Agnihotra fire is extremely medicinal. It can be ingested daily. Several ash medicines have been developed in Germany. The ash is also a powerful fertilizer for the garden or farm and beneficial in any water source to purify the water.

Agnihotra Mantras

Mantras are given in Sanskrit language which was nobodys mother tongue at any time on Earth. All languages of the world have words coming from Sanskrit. But there is not a single word in Sanskrit which comes from any other earthly language. There are vibrations that exist everywhere. It is only vibrations when you go into it. Where there is vibration there is also sound. When we do these Mantras, the sounds we utter activate these special vibrations that will create certain atmosphere or effects. Then the desired results are realized. These vibrations exist for everything, so anything can be activated, controlled or changed by Mantras. When one utters the Mantra with a pure mind into the Agnihotra pyramid at Agnihotra time, the ash retains that energy and the healing properties of the ash become more powerful.

Agnihotra Mantras
At Sunrise (Listen to the Mantra) sooryya swh, sooryya idam na mama (after the word swh, add the first portion of rice/ghee into the fire) prajpataye swh, prajpataye idam na mama (after the word swh, add the second portion of rice/ghee into the fire) This completes morning Agnihotra. At Sunset (Listen to the Mantra) agnaye swh, agnaye idam na mama (after the word swh, add the first portion of rice/ghee into the fire) prajpataye swh, prajpataye idam na mama (after the word swh, add the second portion of rice/ghee into the fire) This completes evening Agnihotra.
