Dr. Mehrotra has done his PhD in the area of Supply Chain Management and Information Technology. His teaching career spans more than 13 years. He has authored papers on Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Information Technology. His areas of interest include Data Mining, MS-Excel in Business, MIS, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

MASOOD H SIDDIQUI PhD, CSIR UGC (NET)-JRF,M.Sc.- Statistics (Univ. of Lucknow)

Dr. Siddiqui is an Associate Professor in the area of Decision Sciences and hold over 16 years of experience in teaching. His areas of research Interest includes Data Analysis, Operations & Research Methodology, Marketing Research.

SHYAM JI MEHROTRA MA, M.Com (Agra University), PGDM (NIBM, Pune)

Prof. Mehrotra is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), Mumbai. He also holds Certificate in Cooperative Financing and Certificate in Industrial Finance from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai. Prior to this, Prof. Mehrotra was associated with Allahabad Bank as General Manager. Prof. Mehrotra has published more than 20 publications in National and International journals. Besides, he has been members of selection board as Banking specialist of Dena Bank, Corporation Bank and Allahabad Bank.

ATHAR MAHMOOD PhD (Univ. of Lucknow), MBA (AMU)

Dr. Mahmood is an Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) by AIMA. He holds over thirteen years of experience in academic and industry. Dr. Mahmood has several National and International publications to his credit. His areas of academic and research interest include HRM, Organisational behavior, Team-Building, Conflict Management, Student Engagement, Negotiation Skills and Interpersonal Relations.

DHEERAJ MISRA PhD (IIT), MA

Dr. Misra has over 19 years of teaching experience. His areas of Research Interest include Corporate Finance, Investment, Financial Derivatives, Risk Management in Commercial Banks.

S.R. MUSANNA PhD, MBA, LLB

Dr. Musanna has a very distinguished career in industry and academics of over three decades. A specialist in OB, HR and Business Law, he has been an eminent member of faculty at the institute from its inception. Besides being a sought after corporate trainer, he had also been an adjunct faculty at IIM-Lucknow & Great Lakes Institute, Chennai. He has published in National and International refereed journals. His areas of research interest include Business Law, Industrial Relations, Negotiation & Arbitration.

KAVITA PATHAK PhD, MBA

Dr. Pathak has about 20 years of experience in academics which not only includes the time spent with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow but also her four-years of teaching and research stint at UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Australia. She has published several research papers in reputed National and International journals. Her areas of research interest include Hightech Marketing and Consumer Behaviour.

Since the batch size of the programme is small, the delivery of the course is customized according to their job profile and sectors/companies in which they work. To fulfill their ambition in their career path, students are encouraged to do project/term paper in every course related to their job profile and company/sector to which they belong. However, in case of non-working executives, they can do the project according to their preferred job profile or sector. We, at Jaipuria, understand the time constraints of working executives and entrepreneurs and thus to fulfill their learning needs, the entire programme has been divided into ten terms and students are required to do three courses in every term so that they are able to effectively internalize the learning of each course without feeling stressed.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The duration of the programme is three years with quadmester system. The first and second year of the academic programmes will have four terms each, while the third year of the academic programme will have two terms comprising of dissertation equivalent to 6 credits. In the first eight terms, all the courses are compulsory which you are required to complete and the third year will have Dissertation on the topic, which you can choose according to your preferred area of functional specialisation. You have the flexibility to choose the super specialisation that needs to be accomplished during term 8 & 9. You will be required to complete the dissertation under the supervision of a faculty guide. During your dissertation, you need to meet the faculty guide at least once in a fortnight in a class room environment to apprise him about the progress of the dissertation. The mid-term appraisal of the dissertation will be done by the Dissertation Committee. The final report of the dissertation needs to be submitted before the end of the year in front of the Committee. You will also be required to defend the findings of the report of your dissertation.

TIME LINE
The normal time to complete the programme is three years. However, if you are not able to fulfill the prescribed academic standards due to extraordinary circumstances, you may be allowed two more additional years to complete the programme as per the recommendation of PGDM Committee.

The dissertation in the third year of the programme provides you the flexibility to choose your own area of specialisation based on your experience.

DISSERTATION GUIDE
For supervising and guiding your Part Time PGDM dissertation, you will be assigned a project guide from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow or any of the sister institutes of Jaipuria Institute of Management located at Noida, Jaipur and Indore. The project guide would necessarily be associated with you in the area you want to pursue your dissertation. The guide shall all through stand as a mentor during the process.

The objective of having a dissertation in the third year of the programme is to allow you to apply the learning gained in the programme for solving a real-life problem. Eligibility and Selection Process The Programme is targeted at individuals with high potential for success in business and industry. Such individuals must have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (under 10+2+3 system) in any discipline from a University recognized by Association of Indian Universities/AICTE with 2 years work experience.
