NOTE: In version 7.00 of the HP Data Protector integration for HP Operations Manager (UNIX and Linux): Support for HP Data Protector A.06.00 is discontinued. Support for HP Performance Manager and HP Performance Agent is discontinued. Support for HP Reporter is discontinued.

New features
Version 7.00 of the HP Data Protector integration for HP Operations Manager (UNIX and Linux) has the following new features: Support for HP Data Protector 7.00. Support for HP-UX 1 1.31 IA-64. Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2, 5.3 x64. Support for Solaris 10 SPARC.

Recognized issues and workarounds

This section lists known issues and workarounds on UNIX and Linux systems. In HP Data Protector 7.00, the product version which is embedded into the HP Operations Manager application agent binary files is 6.20. These binary files have not been updated for Data Protector 7.00, therefore version strings of the earlier product version are still used. Nevertheless, the application agent functionality is not affected in any way. Workaround: None. You can safely ignore the incorrect version number. In HP Data Protector 7.00, the Data Protector product version listed in the HP Data Protector Integration Guides for HP Operations Manager is 6.20. These guides have not been updated for Data Protector 7.00, therefore version strings of the earlier product version are still used. Nevertheless, the documentation content is still valid. Workaround: None. You can safely ignore the incorrect version number.

Patches and fixes in this version

There are no recognized issues in version 7.00 of the HP Data Protector integration for Operations Manager (UNIX and Linux).

Software availability in native languages
