Max :12 loz/day for<7 days. Soln. Adult 15 mL gargled for atleast 30 seconds at1 -3 hrly interval as needed. Rinse for oral lesion 15mL held in the

mouth and swirled around for at least 30seconds with repeat use every 1 - 3 hr throughout the day. Children 5-15mL

GENERIC: benzoxonium Cl, lidocaine HCl BRAND: OROFAR-L INDICATION: infections in the mouth & throat eg pharyngitis or laryngitis, sore throat w/ colds, aphthous ulcers, stomatitis, gingivitis. Adjuvant in tonsillitis. Dental plaque. DOSAGE: Loz 1 loz 2-3 hrly, in severe infections, increased to 1 loz 1-2 hrly. Max: 10 loz/day. Aphtous ulcers Dissolve the loz slowly in contact w/ the lesion. Soln after morning & evening meals, gargle or rinse mouth for 30-60 sec w/ 1tbsp of undiluted soln. (do not swallow). If continued treatment is indicated, the soln. maybe used more often or be replaced by the loz during the day. Children >4 yr Dose should be reduced. Loz Max: 6 loz/day. Soln.
