Registration Procedure
Description
Newly or for replacement pressure gauge that needs calibration shall be coordinated to QA-Calibration Section. A back-up pressure gauge must be provided prior the request to secure availability of machine and so as not to halt the sections productivity. Fill-out Registration Form (S-QR-343) signed and approved by section heads. Submit the form and the pressure gauge to QA-Calibration section Note: The instrument must be complete and in-good-running condition before handing it over to QA-Calibration. The form and the pressure gauge must be validated and passed with initial inspection before acceptance of request. The pressure-gauge shall then log, in the In and Out Instrument Logsheet. The validated pressure gauge shall be registered in the Calibration Program and shall have its control number assigned. Schedule of calibration shall be made upon accepting the request based on the need and availability of facility to be used. Record of registration shall be kept and maintained including S-QR-343.
